[Merged] Miami Dolphins Cuts to 53 players

I realize appetite for problem children has to be low in Miami but to me you take chances on problem children:

1. When the reward is huge (i.e. very talented)
2. When the risk is small (i.e. cheap)

Kenny Britt was just released by the Titans and if he's healthy and ready to go, he fits. Chad Johnson did not because he wasn't really that talented anymore. Britt does not win veterans in the locker room over the way Chad does so nobody cares if you treat him rough, and I think right about now it would actually HELP your locker room to see you making a move to improve the talent level.

EDIT: NEVER MIND. Bad information. Britt has NOT been released. I would be all over him if he was though.

DE Everette Brown was cut in Detroit. I had heard he was having a really good camp and preseason, so I wonder if we take a look? I know he was a dissapointment in Carolina.

 

Danny Coale was cut by the cowboys, He wasnt bad at VT, any comments on him?

At first I was enjoying this thread. Exciting time of year for everyone. But after a day of listening to folks list 16 pages (and growing) of players who were cut by other teams who maybe better than what we currently have its getting rather depressing.

Skins cut Anthony Armstrong. So much for that trade for Slaton.

 

I am glad to see Yeatman make the squad. That is what Philbin is looking for. A tackle with good feet.

Omar shifts with the wind as long as it serves him from a media standpoint. He was asked if media guys like each other and he referred to it as a stab in the back kind of business. So Omar has to take as much credit as he can.

 

Reached injury settlement with CB Kevyn Scott. Which means he can sign with any other team except Miami.
