I can't believe they keep Kaddu though. he looks like **** against the run.

 

Kaddu is a draft pick with upside, Guyton is already obviously awful. Never seen a lb more afraid of contact in all my born days.

 

How does this relate to the cuts? Is there someone you're mad they cut?

 

It's not Ireland who fields the team. It's the coaches.

Isn't Philbin making these calls ? He's the one sitting with the coaches after the preseason and tells Ireland which ones he can develop, play, etc. I think cuts are being done by Philbin while looking for new groceries is being done by Ireland.

Kaddu is a developmental player, and the roster math of keeping him makes sense- Jason Trusnik can back up both Misi and Burnett.

 

My #1 vote for LB who was afraid of contact will always be channing crowder.

 

This was the deal breaker for Jeff Fisher I believe. Jeff Ireland has final say.

I've paid extra attention on Hard Knocks, at least twice Philbin has said to the players that Jeff makes the final decision with input from Joe.
