That is the case. I have a feeling some guys have already been cut and it will be a matter of announcing it. No doubt some guys didn't take advantage of their opportunities tonight. I agree with the notion to throw caution to the wind and keep the rookie receivers. In particular to Matthews and Cunningham.

 

has anyone else noticed that for the NFL network replays of games they've been cutting a couple drives per game? it's sneaky because they're short ones but you notice when a team punts then has teh ball again

If you're referring to 3rd down, I thought it was to Hogan.

 

Why do we get screwed on calls....we get P.I. for good defense. We get raped and the ref pats the guy on the *** and tells them good play.

 

Ireland seems like a nice enough fellow, but he's in over his head as a GM. Being an area college scout, or such should be his limit.

They cut them because they have to fit the game into a 3hr time slot. They probably have a smorgasbord when it comes to what to clip from our games.

 

Agreed, he has ability but to me is a poster boy for the Peter Principle , just because you were good/very good at something doesn't mean you will be moving up . To me he shows his upper level limitations , no need to tar and feather him , but also no need to let him make the decisions he has and looks to be doing in the future .imo.
