Really wasn't meant as an attack. I don't know why you're taking it as such. The proof is out there for anyone to see. But I'm guessing everyone already knows and wants me to shut up about it so I will. Welcome back.
Did anyone else catch in the preview of next weeks episode, Ireland saying the the receiver position is going to look a lot different when we get to the final 53.
What are you doing here? There's a team out in Davie that could use your skills! Get out there before they start the season and proceed to make an *** out of themselves!
Yes I caught that but he could mean a lot different than last year.... though I did say weeks ago there was a good chance 2 of the receivers were not on the team. We'll see , but I like the chances of that at the moment .
He needed to tell her it was okay to begin unpacking in the new Indianapolis home and to start the party without him... kinda time sensitive.
Well maybe with the new direction we get more access as fans , I think Ross gets that aspect personally.
Jeff Ireland's son is a real nerd. A chip off the old block. Is Jeff Ireland the last man on the planet wearing these?
That's what you've been doing all day? Looking for banned members to link me to b/c you're on an agenda after I reported some of your posts yesterday? Like I said, please stop attacking me and derailing the thread. I'm not the only one on the planet who isn't supportive of the the firing of Ireland.
Really I just thought I had heard a similar argument before. Must just be a coincidence. My bad bro. Carry on.
Root didn't even start for Boise State. They did have a heckuva defensive line over that last four years. His comments to Coach Rodgers concerned Philbin, and that appeared to be a theme of this episode. Coach Philbin is not in a mood to tolerate. That was the theme. He will not tolerate a marginal player, even if they hustle, he will not tolerate undisciplined players with consistency issues (e.g., Vontae, Daniel). He will not tolerate the current overall effort of this team. I believe the roster turnover may be more servere than we initially thought, as in closer to 10 than 4 or 5. Most of us have keen eyes to point out the lack of talent. I at least give Joe and Jeff the benefit of the doubt that they know they have a talent poor roster.
Considering that Les Brown's 6'4" 245lbs, I don't wonder why they didn't try it. Kidding aside, the rest of the receiving corps is that bad, sans Bess, there was really no need to add anyone else to the mix until after cuts are made.
I wanted Ireland to go for his drafts; but I completely disagree with all the criticism toward him on this episode. He tried to hard with every player to keep them confident and be successful moving forward. I think there are a couple of reasons he wouldn't go into detail. First, I think he didn't want Vontae to be too discouraged at the moment (I don't think there was any doubt he was shocked; losing team or not, Vontae had friends; knew the area; I doubt he wanted a trade). And, I don't think GMs want to let players know the details before everything goes through and the announcement is made. I thought JI did a very good job with every player. To be honest, some of the players are incredibly dysfunctional in interpersonal interaction (e.g., the CB who just stared ahead and didn't acknowledge anything). The best part of the program, however, was the Les Brown talk with Campbell. It was real. It was wholehearted. It was powerful and emotional. I really like Campbell. I also hope Brown works his butt off and gets some strength. He really has potential to be a Dallas Clark type player. He just needs some more physicality. His attitude and speed are great.
I actually thought there was a chance Campbell and Brown were about to make out then re-enact the freezing to death scene from Titanic.
Have you here to save the wide receiver for the Dolphins? We are needing it bery much. I am a fan for your good hands.
