This episode is pretty depressing. Philbin's talk with Thomas, ugh. Pounced and his wife talking...she then says she hopes they wings Atlanta because she is tired of having people talk shat to her. Players looking like idiots. Wilson and Root talking back to the coaches. And what was with the guys having a dry hump session and them playing that song over it. That was not needed.
Thomas was 15 minutes late for lifting and Joe chastised him for it. It was like watching a father get on his kid for not doing his homework.
It would be funny if the trade talks were like: Ireland: "You know his brother killed some people with a hammer right?" Philbin: "Yeah and he gave me this disturbing look when I told him he couldn't take his potty break" Both At The Same Time: "He needs to go...."
man why do I feel like our players looked dumb on this episode how does tannehill not know any of the football divisions
Ireland sucks, until Ross gets it through his mind the Dolphins are destined for mediocrity or worse . Ireland has to go.
Not saying this is the case, but some people just love playing football but don't really watch it or care about being a fan.
My God, does Ireland need a personality transplant! So why are not these guys giving better effort a month into camp? Or why are the coaches not getting it out of them?
I thought Ireland handled the trading of Vontae quite well, as well as the cuts. Nothing about Jeff seems disingenuous IMO. I personally think he gets a ridiculously false wrap in the regard.
Ireland looked bizarre. 1. To paraphrase, he said he felt Vontae could accomplish great things, but he obviously traded him. Clearly a half-truth, at best. 2. He claimed to want to be completely transparent, but when Vontae asked what he was traded for, he paused and said a 'couple of picks'. Why not continue to be transparent? 3. Finally, it was clear that Vontae wanted out. He would barely contain the excitement.
only things i loved from this episode were the Incognito-Egnew exchange and the Jim Turner highlights. All the rest was awkward or sad. Also, I'm now 100% sure Mrs. Jake Long is better looking than Mrs. Tannehill. Way to go Jake!
1. It's not a half truth. He didn't say Vontae is doing great things. He said "could"..... but after 3+ years he clearly didn't want to wait any longer if Vontae wasn't perceived to be a part of the future. 2. Now you're just going completely overboard. 3. No it wasn't clear at all. He seemed emotionally at a loss for words.
I agree with you but you would think when he was going into the draft process this is something he would want to learn
Incognito knocking the Falcon on his *** and then calling him a ***** was pretty awesome. Made me chuckle. I like rotten Richie.
Tannehill threw a block and Long said don't ever ****ing do that. Willie Mays Hayes http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfkdZ3tXFSs
Jeff Ireland: Vontae you are traded Vontae: I got to call my grandma Vontae's Brain: I got to continue, whats that word.............acting.........so they don't know I am happy to leave this sinking ship.
I dunno I'm a Ireland hater but the only thing I was kinda like wtf with was when Vontae asked what he was traded for and he said picks. I just don't understand why he wouldn't tell him what picks It was like he felt how dare you ask that.
It rubbed me the wrong way too at first, but then it hit me that theres a good chance that everything may not have been official with the league yet, and didn't want Vontae tweeting it as he left the meeting.
