Might be something worth watching for in the game if their paths cross somehow. I'm sure they will hang out after the game. I played with them in HS Dez Bryant is 2 years younger then me and Lane were, but damn he was awesome when he was a sophmore. Lane pretty much carried the team on his back. Dez did not play varsity until we got to the playoffs despite being our best WR in the program. If you were wondering if we ever lost yes in the state semi finals to Chase Daniel HS team Southlake Carroll 37-30. We finished 14-1.

What was the reasoning for keeping Bryant on JV for the regular season?

How big was Lane in HS?

They will hang out at a coffee shop with Dez's security guards!

Coaches did not like his attitude. He was young I had to check him once in a big time playoff game against Cedar Park before the game. That was Bryant's first varsity start. He caught 2 TD's ironically one was a bomb pass from Lane who lined up at QB. Lane was 260 in HS but he can do it all. Hell he was 1st team all district punter like 42 yard punt average. He is going to be great for the dolphins. As far as dez goes he is truly a really good kid. His home life was as bad as they make it out to be. Several times my grandfather and I would give him a ride home from practice because nobody was there for him. I actually talked to dez about 2 months ago he is really focused for this season. I called him being a first rounder when I saw him against us in practice.

Lol I'm guessing so. Dez needs it I still think he doesn't realize what kind of opportunity he has in front of him. I'm just glad Lane got a chance he is so much more talented then alot of these NFL FBs I see. When I heard he signed with Miami and was 257 I k ew he would beat out any FB on the roster. He still needs to hone in blocking but give him time it has been 3 years since he played any major football.

Since you two were buds and all, did he offer you a discount for banging his mother??

I never met his mom. She was never around. I was cool with all his brothers. Dez is a good kid man I bet you wish he was a dolphin right about now. I'm really close to Lane we graduated together. I'm really rooting for him.

I always admired Dez's passion & intensity for football, and have genuinely believed he'd make a great teammate and even a decent leader as he matures and becomes a man. I always got the sense he's the type that hates losing and can't stand not being the best at what he does to the point where money will likely nnever make him complacent.
