This ending is unfitting for Dolphins' Taylor

It's so disappointing how this is all panning out, especially because these are the players that not only I admired, but pretty much everyone else did.

Man who would have figured out that out of all the guys on this roster, him and Zach would/will be gone. Its definitely going to be awkward not seeing those guys lining up.

I miss Zach terribly. JT's turned into a big-headed lug.

Everyone acts as if these guys do this for free. These players are paid millions of dollars to play football.

Zach is injury prone now. He could barely get on the field last year. We are rebuilding and that is why he was cut. This is not being disloyal. Once the body goes the player goes as well. This is how it works. Did everyone expect a celebration for his past accomplishments? That never happens.

As for JT. The guy left us hanging but didn't want to cut ties because of the bonus he will be due. He doesn't want to play for the Dolphins but he is more than willing to take our money. JT turned into the me guy that we often groan about when we see it on TV or read about it in the sports section only slightly different. He was afraid to tarnish his name so he secretly said he wanted to be traded while telling the team he would be back after his TV show was over. The guy is a liar and a phony. It is unfortunate it had to turn out this way but now we see the true side of Jason Taylor and it is pretty ugly. Not one player comes before the team. Marino is the exception here because during his time he was the team.

As for ZT with the Cowboys or JT with whoever winning a ring with another team. I hope it never happens. For one they are no longer in a Dolphins uniform and second if these guys are winning a SB with their teams it means my favorite team is not getting a ring. Plain and simple once they leave I could care less about what they do. The only time I will care is when we play them. So I can root against them.

Fans too often become what is known as player fans. This type of follower ALWAYS sets themselves up for disappointment. Players never stay forever.

My, my. What disgustingly mercenary thoughts about two players who have basically laid it on the line for the team you wish to see win. This is all because the biggest ego in football now has the blessing of the owner to do whatever he wants to anyone at any time, and has shown more than adequately that his ego is more important than any semblance of common decency..

No, I disagree, JT signed up for DWTS last November, this has been in the pipeline for a very long time, to blame Parcells is to ignore the player who is not here because they chose to do their own thing.

Here we see the truly saddest part of this separation; the denigration of fans loyalties into venomous detachment and distasteful vitriol. Neither side is right, neither wrong, now we see the bitter taste of loyalties disintegrated into even hatred for a player or a team. Someone gives his all to a team for so many years, then circumstances cause a separation, and "fans" become at odds even with each other over loyalties. I am saddened and sickened by this. I truly hope this does not become a poison to members of this board.

Not really, if JT chooses to go with acting then good luck to him, I hope he does well.

I guess the sentiment that I'm missing here is that JT is choosing to do what he wishes to do, if he wanted to play football for the Miami Dolphins this year, he would be down in Davie seating bullets along with every other person on the roster, JT chose a different option.

    Where is the conflict?

In the two posts previous to mine, you missed my point.
