We have an open relationship, like Evelyn Lozada and Chad Johnson. And, before you go there... I am the man in this relationship, and Phinsational is Chad.
We do not know any better. My years of fandom have been filled with mediocrity, yet I love this team like no other. As of late, I've begun to rely on the Miami Heat to get me through my Dolphins misery... just knowing one of my teams is incredibly talented helps get me by, lol. That, plus I hope every new coach/QB is finally "the answer."
although from 2010....still my Dolphins Pump up Video on gamedays...song is from Roy Jones Jr..."Can´t be touched"
Rainy pretty hard here is South Charlotte, I'm hoping this weather will not affect our game tonight, especially RT
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...acks-into-the-fire?module=HP11_content_stream very interesting trend that seems to be the route to go....
Well of that list, I would say only 4 are failures (not sure the best word to use)??? Russell, Quinn, V. Young, and Leinart.
3 IMO (Cutler, Flacco, Ryan). The others are either clear failures (Quinn, Young, Leinart, Russell) or TBD still.
I'd throw Stafford on that list...possibly take off Cutler and Flacco and maybe even Ryan after this season. Would likely add Cam Newton. I don't see a lot of bonafide top notch QBs on that list. Lot of guys on that list might win you a game or two throughout the year, but they are being propped up big time by the team around them. Jury is still out though
If you arent a failure, you are a success (even Tebow being traded won games for DEN and took them to playoff W), but ultimately yes, jury still out for majority.
Well, they arent a failure! I am not including the 4 this year, or last years underperformers in an definitive label, (nor locking the HoF for Newton either, for that matter). That was covered by the jury is still out for many comment. And as I stated the jury is still out for most....frankly, anyone burying Gabbert or Ponder simply based on a rookie season has no logical standard to begin with. Rational statements are often labeled as low standards from folks that cant rationally discern a difference. The fact of the matter, its 50/50 for Tannehill too in reality from Miami standpoint right now.
Had to run through that twice... only wish the clips were more current, but still gets the adrenaline flowing...
A year ago we still wondered who the starting QB would be. David Garrard was still in camp and Tannehill hadn't been given the all go it was still a trial. This year it looks like the battle is RB, TE, and WR there is no QB battle. The Oline is a bigger question mark.
I hate it when guys bring up these old threads...I couldn't figure out what the deal was with the title when I first saw it... But seriously, this is the first time in a long time we've felt comfortable with our starting QB at this point in camp...
Complain about this thread being bumped? Or let it settle back down to the bottom where it belongs. Hmmmmmmmm......decisions decisions... I'll just let it settle. DOH!!!
