No. We were talking about the predictive nature of statistics in Basketball and how it pertains to the Lakers improvement. Basketball is the most stats driven / predictive league in sports. The NFL is the most difficult. Intangibles matter less in Basketball, while production is king. It is the opposite in Football. and Regular Season stats matter the most, since team efficiency ratings have been the most consistent predictor of success in the playoffs.
For being champs you still remain so angry!! The belief that the world hates on every team/ player you like is funny to me (yes I've seen u do it with the Dolphins) its truly like watching a reality show with 14 year old girls mad at the world. Entertainment like this shouldn't be free.
What does this have to do with your imaginary Heat fan that allegedly yawned at the Olympics? Again, strawman genocide.
Men win gold, no significant injury outside of Blake's annual knee injury. Win win. Rest up boys, this season is going to be crazy...
And yet another fail. No one said they didn't care about the Olympics. What people said was that 'Melo's performance doesn't change their view of what he is: A great scorer, but not that good in any other area.
Whatever u say bruh...some of you just LOVE arguing with anyone who doesn't agree with your own views. The fact you interpreted THAT, groups you in that bunch of really SUBJEEECTIVEE Heat fan who thinks its them against the world. You know, the ones that cry all they get is bad pub and ESPN hates them. Distinguished group I must say.
Skip Bayless ladies and gentlemen..... http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/articles/2012/08/23/jeter_brushes_off_bayless_insinuation/
Wasn't aware Jeter was playing in the NBA know I actually saw this on TV yesterday though. Stephen A ripped Skip a new one- was a pretty damn good rant.
I know I know..... I just thought it is a good read because there are so many Skip fans on here cuz of his LBJ treatment...
It is a good read. On the topic of Skip Bayless, one of my favorite vids from 1st take:
I don't know if this true or not but a TV stations is reporting that the Sacramento Kings will be MOVING to Virginia Beach. Again, this is not reported 100% true obviously. I don't want the Kings to move from Sacramento, but if the move is indeed true I wish it happened with I lived in Hampton Roads lol. I personally have heard nothing about this until today, though. I remember when Arco was one of the most feared venues in the NBA... place was like no other. link to article: http://www.news10.net/news/article/206251/3/Report--Sacramento-Kings-moving-to-Virginia
Being shot down by all the NBA reporters on twitter and none of the major sports websites have picked up the story which leads me to believe that the Virginia Beach press got a little carried away with excitement over some rumors. Big problem with the Kings is that the Maloofs really can't afford them anymore, yet don't want to sell. I think the NBA forces their hand at some point unless they get some sweetheart arena deal in place that lines their pockets. I still believe the guy in Seattle is the best bet for a new owner. I think his name is Hannsen. He has the money and the county approved a enw arena pending negotiations with the City of Seattle
I actually don't like the make-up of the Lakers at all. You have Nash who's #1 priority and best skill is his ball distribution, that's great. Except you also have Kobe whos priority is to ALWAYS have the ball in his hands and carry his team. I'm curious how this is going to work out, Kobe will need to change his mentality for true co-existence. Then I don't believe that Howard is such an upgrade over Bynum that suddenly they are the best team.
I think Howard is an upgrade over Bynum, but it will be negated by Kobe. Because he loves to shoot. I still have OKC as the team to come out in the West.
Kobe is now gonna have to dribble around Howard. And Nash is gonna pass him the ball for wide open shots; thatis simply not something Kobe is comfortable with.
I may be in the minority but I think Kobe may actually benefit from having Nash around. Kobe will be able to do more off the ball (ala D Wade with LeBron coming to Miami) and it might just help his game. A line up with Nash, Bryant, (World Peace- whatever), Gasol, and Howard is intriguing to say the least.
shut up haters....howard over bynum is a huge defensive upgrade, bynum was a good defender, but he didn't bring it every night, also howard is a much better defender of the P'n'R...his rebounding and defense will be the difference....antawn jamison is also a big upgrade for the bench, kupchak i don't know how he did it, but he is already GM of the year......GO LAKERS !!!
Being realistic, I still don't believe there is a snowballs chance in hell LA wins the West unless OKC gets an injury bug.
I am excited to see the Lakers this year but god help them if they have Jamison and Nash out there at the same time. No defense between those 2.
From bleacher report, which I hate, but apparently Chalmers claimed he is a top 10 PG in the league. Interesting, I think he is extremely underrated but I love his attitude here. Hope he brings it again this season. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...driveway-interview-with-mario-chalmers/page/8
I may need therapy soon...James Dolan wants to bring Isiah back to the Knicks. Since Scott O'Neill resigned his position in the NYK front office the other day there is an opening. Someone feed Isiah more pills please.
http://instagram.com/p/PkE1PQEMst/ Heat players and personnel were called to the AAA today to have their rings sized. cough cough cough. giggle giggle giggle.
