    I don't see this as a bad thing. He hired Parcells because he has a track record of knowing what to do with a football team, not to be a yes-man. He trusts Parcells to handle the situation.

    What on Earth could possibly be wrong with an owner hiring a man to do a job, then giving him the latitude to do it? media just never gives up trying to stir ****. :tantrum:

    Just because he's not telling Parcells what to do doesn't mean he doesn't know what's going on.

    These guys in the local Miami sports press always amaze me.

    Wayne is the OWNER of the Dolphins, he knows whatever he WANTS to know about HIS team, just like Bill Parcells is the VP.

    Parcells has negotiated HUNDREDS of contracts with HUNDREDS of agents and players. I guess what those two guys really need to do is consult with an attention starved, muck-raking, excuse for a sports writer before they make any decisions that DIRECTLY AFFECT THEIR SALARIES, REPUTATIONS AND LIVELIHOODS.

    What have they been thinking?
