There was a symbol there but he didn't change Wake's count. By making it one less the count is off. Total should always add to 475. I'll fix.
You guys can vote however you want but it won't speed the game up. While you're knocking out Reggie, Cam will get huge and could possibly gain more support.
Bush, Reggie [131] Fields, Brandon [142]+++++ Weekend's over, let's get the momentum back. Wake, Cameron [202] ------
Bush, Reggie [131] Fields, Brandon [141]---- Weekend's over, let's get the momentum back. Wake, Cameron [203] ++++ No Sir, not happening.
Bush, Reggie [129] Fields, Brandon [141] ---- Wake, Cameron [205] +++ you guys realize that this will grind into the season right ?
Just like last season. In fact the season starting is what allowed Wake to win. If memory serves me right it was between Henne, Wake and Vontae Davis. I was on the Vontae Davis team until the game against the Patriots. Henne and Wake really took off, until the season went on and Henne didn't play as well as Wake. The longer this draws out, the better it is for Bush or Wake. Fields would have to boom nothing but 70 yard punts with all being within 10 yards to get people really excited or both Bush and Wake would have to suck. Hell if Fields punts has zero touchbacks in the first 2 games with all punts within the 10 yard line, I would start voting for him.
Yes, I was voting for Davis then Cam before the season started but it was Henne being exposed in the regular season that paved the way for the Wake victory. But I don't see this lasting into the regular season. It's possible, but by then one side will eventually pull ahead and then it will be over quickly. Only reason it lasted into the season last year was because of the late start due to work stoppage.
It did start really late. Preseason helps both Bush and Wake because no one gets excited for punting during the preseason. Also there is a good chance they might tell Fields to not punt as good to get work in for special teams. Let see, this is the numbers for about a week ago. Bush is down 39 Fields is up 44 Wake is down 5 With those numbers it is going to take about 3 weeks to knock off Bush. That is pretty close to the beginning of the season. That is also without anyone coming into Bush's defense.
