    Hello everyone..

Much better crowd today, not capacity, but close..

Gonna get right to it, because thats exactly what they did comin out of the tunnell..

Garrard leads the first team today with 7 on 7's...Martin and Hicks starting..Chad and Nannee, with Clay in the slot..

Just a bunch of DB's out there..I believe they completed their first 10 or 11 of their first passes, tennis match time..Much better start to the practice than yesterday..

1..Garrard check down to legadu..5 yards, gets tapped.

2..Moore checkdown to Egnew..7 yards, gets tapped.

    3..Garrard check down to reggie.

4..Moore with a nice slant to Miller, beat his man..

5..Garrard with a nice seam pass to pruitt, over vontae's outstretched hands down the left hash, very nice play.

guys are srcreaming ''no more of that bullshI^ that we saw from Sparano..

Its literally, 5 seconds in between plays, going from 1st team to 2nd team, opposite ends of the field.

6..Moore to clay with a checkdown in route..5 yards, pitch and catch.

7..Garrard,crossing route to Clay from the slot..

8..Moore to Jeff fuller deep slant.nice play..

9..Garrard to les brown an a short our pattern, good ball placement..

    10.Moore, checkdown to egnew..

11..Garrard to Fasano, good ball placemnent on the short our route.

12..Moore on a seam route, dropped by Hogan..

13..Moore comes back, throws a short post, Chad has to come back a bit, drop.

14..Moore, throws a deep come back near the sideline to Naanee, Nolan carroll jumps the route and breaks up the pass..perfect timing..nice play.

15..Devlin to Gates on a short out route.

Horn..That was a quality period, its obvious to me now that thiss is about muscle memory and position on the field..Its basically 6 receivers running different routes on the tree, and defenders covering..really nothing in terms of schemeing..Which is fine, Philbin said the first two weeks will be about fundamentals and technique.

Ball hit the ground three times..but sooo simple.

Position drills..man next to me talking to me about how John Denney hiked his son the ball, ''drilled him in the chest..

riveting adult drama, hes talking to me to much so I did the towel over the head move..works every time..

    Josh Kadu, good coverage skills..

11 on 11..Naanee, Chad, Charles clay getting the slot..

1..Garrad to Bush, run, no gain..

2..Moore bootleg, nothing there, runs for 8.

    3..Garrard to Bush, run..

    4..Moore, tHigpen up the middle.

5..Daniel thomas, run thru some traffic, showing very good feet, nice run..

    6..Messam, no gain,

7..Garrard, play action, completes the 5 yard in route...seemed safe to me.

8...Jacquies Smith..Moore tries for a quick bubble screen, Smith beats his man, rushes, times the jump, goes vertical and blocks the pass..nice pla all around.

9..Moore hands off to Miller..just running some plays..

10..Garrard on a roll, Cam wake destroys.

11.Devlin hands off to Thigpen, no gain.

12..Garrard gets sacked, but yet they still continue the play..This is why this is so hard to judge defenders are just pulling up on the pressure.

    13. Devlin, drops, has traffic in front of him, throws a very nice ball to BJ coming across the middle, 15yards in the air, perfect placement, BJ in stride...nice play..

14..Moore to Wallace, 15 yard dig route, perfect timing..nice play..

    15.Messam run,showing good pad level.

16..Moore goes deep post, just a bit to long.

17..Daniel Thomas, display a nice spin move, this was something he fed on in college, to me its a sign of confidence when a player is using it in his repertoire.

    18..Devlin..sacked by MCD..

    Horn..

    1. Garrard to bess, 5 yards, RJ right there.

    2..Misi playing the will.

    3..Moore to cunninghamd, 5 yards.

    4.Garrard to Bush, handoff.

5..Moore with an audible at the los.. Goes to gates, play busted up, tyrell johnsoon.

6..garrard, laser to Chad, deep out, 25 yarder, taps feet, round of applause.

    7. Garrard tries to go to Clay on a quick hitch, RJ blitzes, jumps in the air and bats it down...really nice play.

8.Moore..Josh Kadu with a clean path to the QB, he puuls up, moore throws anyway, les brown drop.

9..Garrard, hesitates, throws out to Naanee, too late, momentum carried him out.

    10. Moore to wallace, bubble screen, good ball placement..

11..Fasano Naanee, one behind the other on the left, Egnew and Chad same thing on right...Egnew cuts underneath, chad, Garrad throws a dart for 7.

Damn, I gotta go guys, wont be back tonite to finish this one but Ill put the 2nd part with 2maros report..

    Peace.

On my cell, Roberto and Jeff fuller had nice practices, fuller with amazing focus on a deep slant, traffic everywhere, perfect balance, head still, smooth running style, perfect hand catch, in stride, big time receiver ay

Thanks for the hard work DJ.

Interesting that Clay is lining up in the slot a lot. Not really that surprising, but nice to see that they recognize him as a play maker, which he proved he very well could be consistently based on last season.

Thanks big time DJ. These reports are making my days. If you have a chance to comment, both of your reports seem to indicate that Devlin is looking quite good. Anything worthy of mention?

Lil' Beast Wallace continues his development, but Marlon Moore has and so has JPruitt.

Toss in the rook Wr's like Fuller (whom I really like) and Richie Cunningham and this is wiiiide open so to speak.

Funny how we seem to keep hearing his name pop up from people attending the practices. Haven't heard too much about the other rookie WRs.

    Muchas Gracias brother DJ!!!

I think it's important, although it's no pads or real time yet, that Dave Garrard is as accurate and in sync with his receivers already. We know he has an incredible arm. IF they can keep the sd-lib and thinking too much out of his repertoire, we might all be very surprised how far this guy could take us. Keep in mind, the guy is only a couple of years removed from a Pro-Bowl season.

My hope is that Garrard keeps going as he is, Moore and Devlin REALLY shine, and we end up trading Moore going into the regular season..... I for one actually really like what I saw of Moore last season, and I still watch a couple of the games from time to time (Recorded them) but Garrard's ceiling is just much much higher than Moore IMHO.
