Ouch! :) At least they had Neil Lomax back then. Heck, half the league had a QB that could bring a team back in the 4th quarter. Late shootouts going past 7 o'clock were great!

    1) Marino
    2) Used to go from Toronto to Miami / Ft. Lauderdale for vacations in winter
    3) It just felt like 'my team'. Identified with it and can;t explain why.

Well, as a kid, I just always enjoyed the logo. I used to have a bed spread, carpet, curtains, I loved me that dolphin. I got older and got into football, I used to love watching Marino Air it out. Three things I love more than the MIami Dolphins, God, country, family. Go Phins!

Dan Marino. Straight up. Neither of my parents were NFL fans, and my brother liked the Eagles, being from just west of Philly, but I wanted to buck the system and looked for a new idol. BAM. Dan the Man.

Also, I think it's because I liked the color orange (still do, large part of my wardrobe).

Fun Fact: I started a cult-like "Orange Week" in high school once, because the color is so awesome. It wasn't really all that popular, but I had one person come up to me who I didn't know who said "yea! orange week" and it was all worth it.

Anywho, I've been bleedin orange n aqua ever since, and will be til the day I keel over. Go Fins

I was born a fan, and havent paid attention until I was 12 years old, in the year 2007. So the 1-15 season was the first one I saw, most people would have given up on them if that was the first season they saw their team play, but I have not. I have followed the team as much as I could the 5 years I have seen them play and every season has had its ups and downs but it has all been 100% worth it to show off my team in Mexico. Go Fins! :D

Became interested in Football after watching SB XXV in 1991 (the first SB televised in Germany). The World League (later NFL Europe) started that same year and I became a huge fan of the sport after attending a couple of games in Frankfurt. Because of SB XXV I liked the Giants during that time.

A year later in 1992 I spent my vacation in Florida and had the chance to attend a Pre-Season Game in Miami (Tampa - Miami). Back home I started more research on the Dolphins and after I learned about their history and people (Shula, the perfect season, Dan Marino) they got me.
    Huge fan since then.

(But still rooted for the Giants last SB :wink2: )
