I wouldn't be surprised if we use a 3rd or a 4th on him. I would be tentative with a 3rd, but alright with it. I think they should jump on it if they could get him for the 4th.

Like some have said, I like some of the potential in our current wide receiver corps, but I think that adding another potential play-maker never hurts. That's what a lot of you wanted right? Take a chance on our future with players with potential.

The earlier we get our hands on players the more time they have to learn our system and develop.

If his talent/potential is truly that great then by all means Miami should go for him this supplemental draft. Would be nice to have a playmaker at WR.

I'm all for using a 3rd/4th round on the guy. He seems worthy of it. Plus, getting production from a guy (possibly) a year before you have to feel the price (draft compensation) is pretty nice.

Measured a huge 6'10" wing span plus 10 inch hands. Consensus now forming he doesn't make it out of the 3rd round.

6'10" wingspan? Goodness. I hope we at least take a shot at getting him.

Omar does his usual shotty research on this guy, but Omar is Omar. He is one arrogant guy even though I do read his stuff from time to time. Omar may be right that the Dolphins should stay away, but his arguments are not overly informed or convincing.

If it were up to Omar, we would field 22 defensive linemen.

I am skeptical, yet I don't want to let this guy get away. Having this extra third makes me more receptive, but a team like St. Louis could potentially get desperate depending on their Mini camp and OTA performances.

From the reports on our WR's during mini-camps and OTA's, it may be us desperate to get him. I think that's one of the biggest reasons we were willing to bring in Chad Johnson and see what he has left.

Probably won't be any different than what we heard on NFLN.

Well, the good news is that Green Bay is incredibly deep at wr, meaning someone well versed in this offense could be available at cut time.

There are other fish in the sea. I'm not sure I agree with Chad Reuter's suggestion that Gordon is better than any receiver that could go in the 2nd round next year.

I am intrigued with Terrance Williams, and he's always stood out to me when watching Kendall Wright and Robert Griffin, and heck he stood out to me in 2010 when trying to watch Josh Gordon. Williams actually has good size to him as I believe he's 6'1" or so...and man is he fast. You know I didn't particularly like RG3...and part of that was my feeling that between Art Briles' inventive offense with those ridiculously wide CFL type splits/spacing, and the track stars Kendall Wright and Terrance Williams, RG3 was made to look better than he really is.

After Terrance Williams there's Aaron Mellette, whom I also like a great deal. I think he's better than Brian Quick, certainly. Reasonable speed, great size and excellent balance and control, runs after the catch, a perfect Philbin type. I know there are NFL teams with borderline 1st round grades on Mellette.

However, after those two, it's true the seniors do suck. I'm not a big Cobi Hamilton fan. I love watching Tavon Austin but it's a simple fact he's a midget. I'm not sure Ryan Swope is any better than a Jordan Shipley. Denard Robinson is surely a project and it might be tough to convince him he's not a quarterback. There are some decent mid to late round rolls of the dice like Aaron Dobson...but the group after Williams and Mellette interests me very little.

Thankfully that's where you get the juniors to step in. Robert Woods is a valid NFL receiver at the very least. Justin Hunter has great potential, though I think Da'Rick Rogers is better right now. Gotta watch Rogers' attitude/character though as I've heard bad things. Marquess Wilson may be the best of the bunch. Andre Debose is FAST and talented.

Between Williams, Mellette, Woods, Hunter, Rogers, Wilson and Debose...you've got potentially a nice group of 1st through 3rd rounders in 2013. And you never know if there's another Josh Gordon hanging in there that we didn't know as much about but is destined to be considered in that group once the spotlight is shined on him.

Just saying Gordon is a nice talent but we shouldn't get trapped into thinking we've got to have him.

I'm liking a lot of whats been posted from you guys about Gordon's measurables. Excellent size and build it sounds. 13 reps is certainly weak though. Even if it was a get out of bed workout. That's not hitting the gym very hard strength wise. Utilize your college trainers and weight rooms that these colleges offer. James jones being cut would be excellent news!

Considering Gordon has a 6'10" wing span, the low bench numbers are not surprising. Long arms don't translate well on the bench and he must have some pretty long arms. I challenge anyone to watch him play on the football field in 2010 and watch him block people, and tell me he's weak, though.

I hear you, and I thought about that. But I still figure, if he'd been hitting the weight room real hard he'd surpass that 13 number. Maybe not though, I havnt read anything/found anything about his work ethic yet, just plus measurables and his off the field issues, and his bouncing around. Some of these college football players are gym rats, some arent. Ala Vontaze Burficts dissapointing 16, and reports of his constant no-shows here at ASU. Then again, Kevin Durant at his 2007 pre-draft NBA workouts couldn't lift 225 once so. But that's basketball, still a fun fact for the day. Wonder what Durant's wingspan is?

He beats jams, and he out muscles defenders when you watch him play, so you dont worry about his strength.

Did they really think someone else would use a 2nd? Or maybe that buffalo would use their 3rd.. more likely. Still. Wow. That's gonna be a high second round pick for him
