    Desides,

Do you really think it should take 5 years to make the playoffs? If we're not competetive in year 3 of this regime it's time to make a change. Carolina went from 1-15 to the playoffs in season 3 and then the Super Bowl. This is entirely possible in the NFL if you have the right personell/coaching.

No matter how much you like him, at some point Cam has to start showing results to keep his job.

Exactly, we really don't know how closely Cam and Mueller worked on the Draft and FA moves, but Randy does have a good history as a GM, especially when it comes to trades and scrap heap players.

In New Orleans in 2000 Mueller and Haslett turned the program around quickly, Mueller pried Aaron Brooks away from Packers and found Grady Jackson and the rooked Wanny for 2 #1's for Ricky, a move that got him fired.

Cam has developed or motivated more then a few players on our roster, Allen, Rod Wright, Hagan is showing signs of life, LBook, Shelton and Hadnot, and "maybe "Q" .

But if we look at our team objectively, we are in the same boat as we were at the end of 2006, no QB and a "?" at RB only now our Defense and Special Teams units are in worse shape performance wise.

When we finish this season, we will have more "?" then answers unfortunately for all of us and CamRan.

I don't where to go on this one. For the most part I'm for giving a coach at least a few seasons before judging him. I have to admit though, I honestly just don't see Cam working out, I don't see this guy turning a horrible team around in a year or two. So do we give him 4 years and hope for a turn around or throw a huge contract at a Cowher or someone that we know can win?
Honestly I'm glad I don't have to make this call because I change my mind just about daily on this. This year has been horrible, losing Ronnie was obviously huge, not having a Qb obviously hurt, the Defense was unexplainable terrible, so it doesn't all fall on Cam for sure. But I would say that if the team is sold its just about certain that Cam is gone.
I do believe Capers should go, I'm sorry but there just hasn't been an excuse for the defense being THIS terrible. Bad, ok, but this bad?

(coach speak on) You can't worry yourself about the 'what if this happened' or 'what if that happened'. All you can control are the things within your control. (coach speak off)

It doesn't matter who was on the field. We seldom see this wide angle to breakdown a play. On the one play that we have defined a "game changer", Ted Ginn was responsible for two players taken out of the defense. One of them was a pro bowler (Ed Reed). That is what we know.

if we were like 7-6 right now if allt he other 6 games went our way within 3 points, we would all be singing off a totally different page. I think cam deserves 1 more year to see what he is made of. i hope we go 3-13. we can still catch the Jets LOL!

I'm still for firing Cam. And I'm a bit embarrassed that everyone Dolphin is tripping all over themselves celebrating a one win season. If that's not proof of a serious drop in standards I don't know what is.
