excellent, apparently we'll be up to par & still competing in the WR stable by game one hartline, chad johnson, bess, naanee would do just fine considering what we have potentially in the backfield & @ TE this should be an explosive offense in 2012
We'll see, Ocho still has to make the team, and I suspect Roberto Wallace has an ally in Ireland, ditto Marlon Moore. IIRC, Nenee's claim to fame was having a couple of big games when VJax was out?
It's not all that likely he becomes a good player, but it also wouldn't be in the running for most bizarre turnaround this season, either. He's probably the 4th WR all things considered in a team not likely to have 4 on the field all that heavily. That's a reasonable spot for him to be on the roster.
yup. We knew Gates was raw when we drafted him. We've kept Wallace, Moore, & Pruitt around for years. Now we're looking at a situation where they'll have to beat out the likes of Nanee and OchoCinco for a spot on the team. Those two are nothing more than plugs in the hole/camp fodder on 1 yr deals. But still perhaps experienced and polished enough to contribute sooner than the youngsters, because they're all learning the new offense together. The problem is, that I highly doubt any of the returning Wrs are practice squad eligible this year. So most if not all of them will be goners if we decide to roll with both Ocho & Legedu. Not worth it. You just know the Bills,Jets, & Pats will be all over em. We have got to keep at least the best 2/4.
I'm not sure what being one of the best players at the WR position on this team really means at this point.
Amen.... All this tells me is that the WR talent is just as bad as we feared it would be. Luckily in this offense you don't need WR talent according to many.
You need to worry about Naanee off the field. That is why he wasn't resigned by the Chargers. [h=2][/h]
I don't know too much about Nanee, can somebody fill me in? What type of WR is he? Is he fast? Is he a possession guy?
