Even though he still took some stupid shots, I noticed last night that Wade took a lot more straight up and down jumpers. Not as many of the fadeaway with legs flailing shots. Hopefully he keeps that up.

Wade is always good for a couple of stupid shots each game.

Last Nights BOS vs. MIA game 7 was the highest rated NBA game in US History. A gargantuan 9.1 share.

I remember the arguments that the Heat would be bad for the NBA's ratings. So much for that.

I like this format better as I see it giving the road team an equal chance as well as the home team to close out.

You don't remember everyone saying how it's no fun to watch a game when you know who will win so people will be less likely to watch? I think that kind of only goes for regular season games though, and isn't true.

I must not quite understand your angle while making this statement. Bosh is more important than LeBron? In what way???

Actually I don't. I just remember the whole "Is this bad for the NBA" routine. Which proved to be completely false.

No matter how much people bash the Heat or LeBron, they still watch his every move. That's friggin amazing.

Wade + Bosh is what makes Wade + Lebron work on offense. Lebron is the King Of Basketball and needs no-one in order to play his game to a certain extent. Wade however does best with a player that compliments his style.

Lebron can get into the lane regardless (so can Wade but he has more issues). Bosh opens up the lane for Wade by taking a big man out from under the basket. This also helps us out on the offensive boards while his presence battling inside helps us grab defensive boards as well. Wade and Lebron are both very gifted rebounders, when you have a big man drawn away from the basket on offense or boxed out on defense both can get inside and pound the boards easier.

The bottom line is that Lebron and Wade don't compliment eachother but Bosh is a compliment to both. He allows everyone to play the game within their comfort zone while providing a deadly mid-range jumper.

I think it makes the NBA more interesting. I may be conceited but I kind of believe it brings more interest to the NBA. They say people love an underdog story, well now we are focused on and hated for some reason. People WANT to see us eliminated and tune in to see if the big bad Heat can be beaten. Some tune in to see in Lebron can get that ring. Some tune in because of the names. Fact is, people are tuning in.

Last nights game, beat 4 World Series broadcasts from last year. I said it before.....say hello to America's #2 sport, and the world's #2 sport.

BTW, put this in perspective...the last 6 years, the Heat has given it's fans:

    5 winning seasons
    4 Division Titles
    3 Eastern Conference Championships
1 World Championship (working on #2)

Media will bash Miami if they win the Championship , And they probably will say something negative about them winning it all during the shortened season and blah, blah

Shortened season or not it involves a trophy, a banner and a ring. I'm looking forward to this series.

Not sure why a shortened season would be an asterisk. It means the physical demands of the game were even higher for EVERYONE.

Telling you right now. First criticism that's gonna happen (assuming HEAT win) maybe not right always, but...
    1) Do it during a normal season.
    2) LeBron, that's only one, you need 5 more.

People on this site said it in the wake of The Decision, as well as the usual talking heads who wondered if there was even a point in watching seasons with supposedly foregone conclusions of Heat Finals wins--the same heads who shower praise on MJ for two threepeats.

As soon as I saw it, I knew a crapstorm was coming. We have to face things as they are! Any little thing will be blown out of proportion ten fold.

I would have loved to have seen Wade bump Rondo on purpose and see if the same outcome would have been absolutely nothing. Would have loved to see a Heat fan hit Rondo in the head with a Basketball during the game and see if the announcers made a joke of it. Or to see a Heat fan hit Garnett with a glass of Beer to see how classless the Heat fans would have instantly been made into...........

LOL why in the hell would okc take offense to that, I mean I'm sure they celebrated too in their lockerroom..

Rondo and KG showed their trueselves leaving like they did, screw them

But, I wouldn't mind replacing Mike Miller with Ray Allen......ooooohh I went there..lol

Yep, you said it best, blown out of proportion, but as Gonzo said.."We got more work to do"

Are ya ready, can ya feel it?

Obviously...they put that pressure on themselves. One ring will not make that unity a success. I think most Heat fans will admidt that.
