I didn't get to see it. My sister saw him on Regis and he said he's done dancing and ready for football, because that's what he does.
Wonder who the next one will be to get bashed and hated on now that it's over?
I was proud of him and the fact that he represented the team and the nfl in a positive way.
I pray he's in a Dolphin uni until HE decides to retire.
He's a gorgeous man, but he's more than that in his uni to me.
Now, I'm ready to see him take the field.

Hi Deb! He was very gracious in both his appearances this morning. He did also say that he has to go back to football because it "pays the bills", which I don't hold against him at all. The man needs to make his money, right?

I don't care about JT one way or the other....he clearly doesn't want to be here anymore, and my loyalties our to the MIAMI DOLPHINS and not any one player. Good luck JT....I would have chosen a classier way to leave, but that's just me.

Are we still supposed to support him? :wink2:

This is why we should have traded him before the draft. His heart isn't in football anymore and he will become a major distraction to this team and a negative influence on our youngsters.

I can't show Taylor a lot of support right now. If he wants out of this franchise when players are excited about this season, unlike in the past few years, and he wants out. I can't really support anyone who goes on Dancing with the Stars, says he'll be a Miami Dolphin, then demand a trade, and do it after the draft. Smells like a Nick Saban situation to me.

I'm a Miami Dolphins fan. I support the Miami Dolphins. I root for them and against their opponents. I guess we're all seeing just how much of a Miami Dolphins fan Jason Taylor is. He's acting like an opponent. I can't support him.

You don't know what goes on behind closed doors. Why can't some of you just give the guy the benefit of the doubt? He has played his heart out for Miami for 10 years and just won NFL man of the year. He's not just some dirtbag who think only of himself. He's done nothing to deserve the idea that he is.

Jason has my support %200. Parcells and Ireland have not really made JT feel wanted. What the guy does(inside legal limits) with his off season is his buisness and I have no problem with him skipping the voluntary workouts for two reasons, #1 he has paid his dues with this team and given everything he had every year, and #2 he has redid his contract before to free up money to sign guys that were suppose to help us win a championship and we have done nothing close to that. So although I agree with njfins fan that I have not watched a second of the dancing and could care less about it what he does is his buisness and more power too him. # 99 is and always will be a Dolphin regardless if he is wearing a Dolphin jersey, or a different jersey, or no jersey at all next season.

  19. Big difference, Saban's tenure wasnt long, your talking about a guy that gave all he had for 10 plus years, maybe it's your age that your quick to write him off, you grow up in an age of free agency and all about the money.

That is a really solid post.

JT will be playing next year. The reason that strange annoucement came yesterday is your front office offically put up the 'for sale' sign on Taylor.

I got a dollar that says he ends up in Dallas playing with Zach.

Please don't take this as being disrespectful but you need to check on Dolphin history before you judge someone's loyalty. At the end of the 74 season Zonk jumps ship to the WFL for 1 million and takes Jim and Paul with him, by the way, we lose the "sea of hands" playoff game with the Raiders. I love Larry but at that very moment I could have killed him. I learned a great lesson that day, the game I love, is first and foremost a business. By the time that Dan Marino sat out training camp for 37 days in 86 and threatened to make it longer the next year (last year of his rookie contract) or be traded if he didn't get his money. I said, oh well, what will be will be! Players hold out all the time for whatever reason to try and get their way, it's part and parcel of the business. If the Owners would show a little more respect for the players contracts then maybe the players would return that loyalty.

On a side note if we had won that game we would have gone the the SB 4 years in a row with the chance to be three time winners. I hope you can see I have a real HARD time thinking about what Larry did to us back then. But I forgave and almost forgot.

Dan actually held out? I thought he threatened a holdout if he wasn't traded and even handed the team a list of preferred teams. But I didn't think he actually held out.

I think it's obvious that JT was hoping he would be traded before the draft. And when it didn't happen, he knew he was gonna have to beg his way out of Miami.
