Right. Giving up 40 points in a 4th quarter are what championships are made of.

Yes it does. The Mavericks were top-10 in defensive efficiency last year. Thats what champions are made of.

    13 turnovers
    11 steals
    9 blocked shots

    16 turnovers
    5 steals
    2 blocked shots

    san antonio 9th def efficiency
    oklahoma st 11th def efficiency

seems both are in the dallas zone on def efficiency

and #1 and #2 in off efficiency

it's an obsession. I really think that Scott Brooks actually thinks Perkins is a good player.

    Guy is awful.

you are making stuff up again.

before the season, I picked Miami vs. OKC in the Finals. How is that one working out?

In the first round, I was 5-3 in picking series, but check the amount of games I predicted for each series. If you were betting over/und on games with ME, you would have gone 8-0, you jackass.

you got them switched. OKC was 9th. SAS was 11th.

Dallas was 7th last year. So, no. not the same. Not close. Adjusted for Pace it becomes that much clearer.

Don't talk numbers. You are WAY out of your depth.

OKC comes closest to Dallas last year overall. SO root for them hater.

To recap...you Heat haters...root HARD for OKC. The Spurs don't stand a chance vs. Miami (with Bosh).

For the hundredth time, the NBA is NOT a stats league, to wide a disparity in talent, ref's play a huge role, as do matchups.

Problem with volume stats in the NBA is performance counts just as much vs a woeful Bobcats team as it does vs a serious contending team prior to the playoffs.

I'd suggest a better measure would be performance in the playoffs were matchups are more equal in terms of talent. Even then, as the Spurs showed, it is the 4th qtr that matters so in that sense playoff performance, in the 4th qtr, is the most important metric.

BTW, all my predictions are in audio. Not made up like Adam's.

I also wonder who picked each and every single Heat-Knicks game correctly. That would have made me 5-0 ATS, 8-0 on Ovr./Und. and 5-3 on moneyline series. for a 18-3 record in the first round.

So yeah..I set a record for futility at 18-3.

    You dumbass.

and if we are talking numbers as to who were the best teams in the Reg. Season, it was Chicago, followed by Miami, and then OKC. Spurs were 4th. That was the pecking order statistically.

everyone picked miami vs the lakers or thunder before the season. really going out on a limb there genius. but then the playoffs came and your short circuiting brain switched to the lakers in the finals. so dont go with your preseason pick because you obviously had a change of heart.

5-3 is pathetic. take up a sport you know something about like handball or something

    He is worse than that.

If he had a brain in his head, when everybody was saying that Boston was gonna sweep Philly, he would have noticed that I was picking Philly, and since I know about 10 times more about basketball than him, he would have taken the over on games in the series at ovr. 5.5 for +150. There was a reason you could get +150 on it.

But no. he decided that nananana booboo was better than cashing a ticket.

Dumbass doesn't even notice when I am handing out money.

I don't know if I can take you seriously. Section has had an excellent track record throughout the years in predicting series, final season standings, etc. The dude knows his stuff. Why you want to unleash hell's fury on him for being a Heat fan and rather insightful with the game of basketball is beyond me.

The opposite actually. But I admit, I blew the Memphis/LAC, and OKC/LAL series straight up. The rest, I picked big underdogs for an upset. Didn't pan out, oh well, but they all became series, and if you paid attention, you would have cashed fat numbers on ovr. bets.

Scuttlebutt is that Battier will start on Pierce, which usually means that when a rumor like that gets perpetrated, that the Heat will do something completely different.

    For you bettors....

the oddsmakers love killing Heat bettors, and they got a doozy tonight. They might have nailed the number at Heat -8.

Thank god for all those gullible New Yorkers that pounded the Knicks in the 1st round, if not, there might not be a single good ATS line on the Heat.

dont know any new yorkers that had the knicks in rd 1. anyone that had a series bet laid the wood on miami. new yorkers actually knew the knicks had no chance in that series
