Why am I not surprised that the Hawks Hawk'd? Forever a 1st/2nd round out.

 

Everytime you analyze the Hawks as a Heat playoff opponent, you say: They are fast, they play good team defense, they can matchup with speed, and they can handle the Heat's transition game, but they do Hawks things at Hawk times.

That team is forever stupid.

In a year or two, for sure. I just don't see OKC having the mental toughness to grind it out yet.

I dont like the rotation right now. I hate Haslem starting. He's a great energy guy coming off the bench. Is Turiaf still hurt?

Everybody is healthy.

The rotation is fine. Haslem was a starter for most of his career. The rotation is 2-0 with two blowouts in the playoffs so far.

 

When the time is right, I see Spo bringing Turiaf in as that high energy guy, who can actually create a shot or two.

 

Wish they would let LeBron cover Melo the entire game, and just let Wade bear the scoring burden.

How so? Derek Fisher and Kendrick Perkins are the only two guys that have made a Finals appearance. And Perkins most likely will do something dumb enough to blow a game or two. This is without the immaturity that Westbrook has displayed previously. They still have some growing up to do.

It is going to come back to bite him in that media market (NY)...........lets say Miami wins (which they will) the next game and they are down 3-0, he comes back on Sunday and throws a half assed attempt out there (which is all he can muster with a stitched up hand).....New York, the fans, and the media are going to see right through that....dont be surprised if the boos rain down, and equally dont be surprised if he is gone next year (if thats possible)....

Ask Jack McDowell, AJ Burnett, and Kevin Brown how it went the year after they decided to play the "punch the immoveable object" game....

 

Im not sure Lakers will even make it to the finals. And the fist pump was more for the "no rings, shoot yourselves" part. IMO if you dont win a title with the Big 3 the experiment was a total failure regardless of how many trips youve been to the final or conference championships you win.

 

they'll win a title, it is a matter of how many.. IMO, they need to win 3 to meet expectations. everything they win after 3 is gravy.

 

I took a flyer on the Lakers making the finals BTW... +400 IMO was a gift.

I also picked them in the podcast I do. So have faith in your team. I do.

 

im just not has confident in this team as the past Title teams where i knew they make it passed anyone in the West. This year little worried about SA/OKC not to say we cant beat them just not as confident especially without home court advantage. I guess it depends on which LA team we get. Will it be the BallHog Kobe where he forgets to feed the Big Men and wants to take over the game? Will the bench show up? If we dont get that Kobe and the bench can score then i feel better with each game.

 

I like this pick as well. I got them at 9/2 last week.
