With a young QB it's a huge advantage in their development to provide pass protection. It gives them a chance to sit in the pocket and learn to read plays/watch them unfold instead of running for their lives. Even if he never becomes a plus run blocker at RT he should definitely be a plus in pass protection. At the moment that is MUCH more important. If he can just be a good run blocker he will be fine.

 

Miami moves in late 2 to grab a WR or DE.

 

He was rated a top 15 player a couple months ago, til all the over analysis starting taking place . I'm glad the Bills took Glenn and left Martin for us.

Not crazy about the Martin pick. I don't like finnesse offensive linemen and I don't like drafting a guy to play outside his natural position.

Philbin did say he wanted a more athletic line. Maybe something to that.

 

We're not going to stop wasting top picks until we fill the entire line with 1st and 2nd round picks.

Hill was Sparanos pick they're saying on ESPN. Sparano wanted a blocking WR, thats why they chose Hill.

How many times do we need to/have we used a top round (1-3) on our O line???? Please we need players who "score TDs, sack the QB, turn the ball over, or are difference makers" and OL is not the right pick in the 2nd.
