I am looking forward to seeing your abilities on the field. Hopefully you will feel right at home with your OC. Time to upgrade at WR.
Deion is an fing tool. First 1st round QB in 29 years and you ask about his fiancee's orange dress. Talk football with him like you did everyone else idiot. Oh yea I do like the pick!!!!!!
I suggest anyone who dislikes Tannehill take the time to actually watch the film and not read stat lines, because I made that mistake at first. A few days ago I'd have hated this pick, but I went into today hoping for it.
I believe picking Ryan Tannehill is a mistake. I watched almost every game last season and he wasn't impressive, he threw more interceptions than touchdowns in these games. I don't like this pick. I believe other QB's in the draft that are better than Tannehill in this draft.
Don't read the stats? You *****ed at me last week using stats as your ammo. You told me that's stats tell the story.
Welcome Ryan! I couldn't be more happy right now! Prove all the doubters wrong! I need to get a brand new jersey now.
While I was hoping for Keuchly, or a trade down, now that it is a done deal, I am pulling for the kid. Hell, who knows...maybe he's all that and we finally have a franchise QB. Wouldn't that be something?!
Okay, well I hope this turns out. We had a HUGE advantage in that RT will be in the same type offense under Sherman and that we knew more about the kid than any other team. I think they sit him for a year, but if we are out of the playoff hunt late in the season, I say we start the kid and get him some experience and game tape.
More support then someone who proved they could win on this team last year and he hasnt even taken a snap.
So we should boo the pick and try to run him out of town? We have two choices because we can't change the pick. We can hate the pick and hope he fails or we can accept the pick and root for the kid to succeed.
Not sure how you mutated what he meant into your response, but you are entitled to your perception of things.
If he's the franchise great. If not we string Ireland up and dunk him into a tank of starving sharks. For some reason this feels like a pick to appease the fans and sell tickets (thanks Ross.)
moore went 6-7 and didnt throw over 300 yards once last season. how many of the teams moore beat were playoff teams? ZERO.
I didn't want to draft Tannehill but there is no point in crying about it after the fact hes our problem or savior now. I do wonder how this pans out with Irelands job if we go say 5-11 this year does he now have leeway based off us pretty much being in rebuild mode now.
It's hard to believe that it's been 30 years since we drafted Dan Marino and I still remember his rookie season. Go RT! Let's not forget that we need WR's also. Marino had the Marks Brothers. I still feel that trading Marshall was a huge mistake.
Marino was also drafted by a team that just went to the Superbowl. There was some established talent all over the place. I'm not worried about Marshall either. Tannehill is young (unlike the other choice, Weeden) and we can take the next few seasons to build our roster while our QB in waiting is preparing and getting experience.
Just something to keep in mind... Some kid named Danny Marino threw only 17 td's compared to 23 int's his senior year at Pitt. In the end, that kind of worked out for us. This is one reason I was on the fence about Tannehill and decided to leave the decision up to the coaches and have faith in them...you know the same coaches who brought you such names as Brett Favre...Aaron Rodgers...Matt Flynn (I wasn't sold on him but many of you were ) Not to mention you can best be sure Matt Moore and David Garrard are going to feel the heat of this pick and step up their game.
