    He's here.

The 3rd ever 1st round QB ever selected by your Miami Dolphins. The previous two turned out fine.

i never understood people like you. either youre a troll or just enjoy being depressed and angry.

he may not have been the pick you wanted, but he does play for your favorite team, if the dolphins are your favorite team, so root for him and hope he turns out great.

Serious question for people not happy excited with the Tannehill pick. Is it because you feel Tannehill isn't the answer? Do you feel Matt Moore is the answer? Do you feel that someone else available later is a better choice? Do you guys think we'll somehow fluke ourselves into a Tom Brady? Do you think the passing thing is a fad? Do you think that one day we'll just be so exceptionally bad and have a QB to draft that will be a sure fire #1 choice? I feel like the only reason anyone would be unhappy with the Tannehill pick is for negative reasons. I don't get it.

I think both Matt Moore and Weeden have more potential then a guy we picked 8th overall. Hell maybe even Chad Henne.

Wow, well if he sucks you can tell everyone "I told you so." If he's good we could have Aaron Rodgers.

Seems like a win-win for you.

The guy is not worthy of #8. I would have been ecstatic if we got him late in round 1 along with a few extra picks. Even then, a developmental qb in the first is a stretch. Rogers went late because he was developmental. Tanny will sit atleast 2 years if this all fits Philbins MO. Not disapointed with his potential upside, we could have gotten more though. Its frustrating. Again I am upset with the pick not the player.

Will you really be that bent if he turns out to be Aaron Rodgers?

I don't see why you're upset about where he was picked. The Bengals took Carson Palmer #1 overall and paid him $45 million dollars and he did not play a snap in his first NFL season. He was a great QB until he got destroyed by injuries.

Will you still call it a good pick and him a franchise QB if he turns out worse than couch or leaf or any other insta bust?

Obviously not, and hes clearly stating its the pick not the player. dumb question

If he turns out to be a bust, it's not a big deal. I'm used to crappy first round picks and terrible QB play. I'm a Miami Dolphins fan. It comes with the territory.

How do you figure? The financial outlay isn't a big deal anymore and that's why QB busts were so debilitating back in the old CBA days.

Are busts at WR, DT, MLB, etc. somehow better?

1st round busts are bad no matter who was picked. I think the fact that it's a high risk player with an 8th overall pick is what makes it a huge deal if its a bad pick. I am okay with the right guy at the right spot picks. Jake Long, Vontae Davis, Mike Pouncey were all good picks in my opinion. This is his first first round pick I didnt like.

The rookie cap lessens the blow of swinging and missing on a QB.

And what do we really have to lose? Its not like we're elite or anything.
