Is that it in your sig? If so, I like it. I completely suck at GIMP and have had trouble learning it. You got any tips such as how to get that backround?

Bro I'm going to be honest with you like I am with everyone else, I think thats an awesome sig for GIMP. I am not a expert as I showed it earlier in my statement so I don't know how others feel about it but I think it looks awesome.

Nice job bro. I haven't used GIMP before, but I know that there are a few people here that do. Also there are a few tutorials on the GFX sites in this thread.....

That might help you out alen. They give step by step walkthroughs for their sigs/wallpapers/etc.

  14. I dual boot with Linux and XP, the only time I ever use XP is if I'm working with an adobe program now.
It's not that gimp is harder, it's just having to relearn things that photoshop makes so easy for us. Gimp, for what it is, is actually a great program. I've seen some nice things done with it, but its definitely not for me. Keep at it though.

i finally decided to open up GIMP. my god, its the AOL of photo editors. The jury is still out on whether I like it or not though. I do like the Paths Tool, thats something I dont have on ImageReady. I noticed some text style generators which may be useful. But most of them would require serious modifying.
