Now that I read this incredibly sad news, I notice I've been really missing your posts around here lately and the smile your username always brings to my face. And now I know why. I hope for nothing but the best for you. Most of all that you are around for at least one more Miami Dolphins football season. I hope you can find peace in the difficult days ahead. Thoughts and prayers!

 

Had you posted this a couple of days ago, I probably would have laughed at such a clever April Fool's prank. As it is, I'm sitting here in front of my keyboard, wondering if this is some sort of sick joke.

I'm not best person at these types of things (I'm a damn viking after all) but I'd be lying if I didn't say I had tears in my eyes.

I can't pretend to know what you are going through, though I have seen friends and loved ones fight cancer, so it most certainly is possible. My maternal grandfather was diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer and was given 6 months to either have his bladder removed, or have the cancer consume his body. My grandfather, stubborn as he is, chose to ignore his treatment and faced his cancer head on, refusing to face the indignity of using a colostomy bag to go to the bathroom.

That was more than 2 years ago.

You, my friend, are cut from the same sort of cloth. Don't give in to this thing. Fight it, and fight it well. The journey won't be easy and there will be times you want to give up, but I urge you to continue. While you have lived a rich and full life, there's still so much more to see and do ... and of course more chances to watch the J-E-T-S Suck Suck Suck.

I hope that you can find a way to continue to update us on your progress, as you've got many friends here, and we've got your back as you fight through this thing.

 

I wont pretend to know all the details of your situation, but your still alive and breathing? Why does the battle have to be over, because its not. Keep fighting man, doctors have made many mistakes and miscalculations (Drew Brees ring a bell). Dont give up so easily, and dont stop doing the things you enjoy the most in life.

See you in the mains after week 1.

 

Damn it, I've been wondering where there hell you have been, and now I know....Iam sorry brother..JS you were always cool to me, always saying the right things, sometimes in very endearing ways, you just had this way about you that made me feel like we would be good friends if we ever did meet..I always respected your mind and the way you handled your business around here, noone ever beat JS on a debate, no one, I can remember some people would come here and try to be an *******e, JS would intellectually fu$& them in the head, and they never would be seen again...Honestly I can't remember how many times since I first met you on the boards I have said to myself, where the hell is JS damn it..

You do what you wanna do to deal with this situation, and I wish you strength from me to you you bad *** mother grabber, but I know Iam not the only one who thinks this, we would love to have you around here during it and not have this be your last post.

Damn. Like it has been said and Im sure you already know, make sure you use your time properly with the ones you love. At least you have been given that opportunity. But on the flip side, my Grandfather was given 6 months to live from cancer, 6 years ago. Hes still alive and kicking and cancer free. You seem like a good guy with a great attitude, I have faith you can beat this thing no matter what the doctors say, and you should to!

This sucks so ****ing bad that it literally makes me angry. Whatever happens man know that I enjoyed chatting and dicking around with you here and on FanHell.

Damn I'm sorry. My family is going through something similar as my mother-in-law has been given 8-12 months to live, no treatments, no surgeries.

Didn't personally interact with you much, but when I saw the username I definitely recognized the name and have seen so many of your posts since I've been a member. The responses from other members and your own post tell me a lot about you and I tip my hat. Being 27 and born a month after the Phins last Super Bowl appearance, how bleeping long will I have to live to see two SB wins? lol Thoughts are with ya and hoping for the best, if the best doesn't come then I commend your great attitude with a situation like this.

Im not sad, im mad. Im ****ing pissed that this kind of **** has to happen to people, especially good ****ing people. Im not Chris, or Lucky or anything like that. I didn't bull**** at FH with you guys, but I lurked like a mother****er. I legitemetely respected you as a person, from what you have posted of your life, to your posts akbout Dolphins. I can't imagine what in the world you and your family is going through, because I have been blessed in the sense that I haven't lost anybody very close to me in my life, yet.
As somebody said...Fight. You are alive, and I know that there are people to whom doctors given no chance to live, live to this day. My friend's fatehr is alive 7 years afte being given 6-18 months to live WITHOUT treatment. My own father was told that he will never walk again about 10 years back. A year later he was walking. I know this **** isn't the same, but the point is that those guys fought, and you don't seem like a guy who just lies down.
No matter what happens, I hope you and your family will handle it as well as they possibly can. Im not a church going man. Im not really a religious man either. I don't remember the last time I prayed.
Today, Im saying a prayer.
