Its still photoshopped. Nike took a bunch of pictures of the uniforms on other model's bodies and photoshopped their faces on it. Its quite obvious, especially in this photo: Tiny white head, huge black arms. LOL. PhotshopFail.
Same here. I never bought a jersey for the sole reason that it looks like people are drowning them. I like a trimmer fit. I like these. I am so glad the color is more aqua than teal and that the jerseys don't sparkle and glitter anymore. Good work by Nike! Now all we need is a logo change and we are set! Finally looking representable!
Yeah I was hoping for an all white collar as well, but this at least looks better. And this new release will definitely help my stock
Channing never had washboard abs. He was never fat either. People thought he was out of shape because his stomach was not as defined as you would expect.
The only thing that is clear is that you're over reacting to a wide angle photo. Is this the real player or is it Photoshop as well?

Looks pretty matte to me on the pants, but damn if those don't look really dark. Oh well...I can live with that since they aren't sparkly and geh.
Ever notice how every offseason thread is ether about how our players are fat or out of shape or how we are getting new uniforms? This thread is like the best of both worlds.
I don't give a **** what some of you think. White jerseys and aqua pants is a sweet look. Haters gon' hate.
Also, lol at people talking about not liking a jersey because it fits too loose or too tight. You guys do realize they make multiple sizes right? You can try on different sizes until you find a fit of your liking. With that said, the link supplied by phinnhedd with the new jersey that will be on sale soon looks really weird. It almost doesn't even look like a jersey to me. The materials make it like a glorified t-shirt. I'll wait to see what the more expensive ones look like. My guess is that they will look like jerseys but will be way too expensive. So do work, China.
I don't know. You guys can decide for yourself. Techonological advances aside, I'm looking more at designs and color schemes. This? Or this? This? Or this? I don't know, call me old fashioned but I liked our older design MUCH better than the newest one when the dolphin was sleak and not some fat cartoon. I like our older color scheme better than the newer one when aqua was aqua and not teal...when coral was coral and not orange.
IMO, the uniforms are up for debate for sure, but the current logo/helmet is much nicer than the old one.
The old dolphin actually looks like a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy of a photocopy...of a turd...with a helmet.
IMO.... That is how the numbers should be. As for the logo... Use the sun from the current logo, take the dolphin from the old logo, remove the lines on the body and make the dolphins solid and lose the cartoonish face.
For those of you who don't like the old style logo, allow me to point out this one bit of trivia to you... The last year we had THAT logo was 1973...the last season we won a Super Bowl. Just saying.
The old style logo was in play until Jimmy changed it up when he took charge. The old logo was increased in size, decreased, rays added in, rays taken out, dolphin in the sun, out of the sun, etc over the years...but it was still the same logo.
I like the new logos more for sure. I'm completely up in the air about the uniforms. I like how they are, but if the navy was gone I wouldnt care. I like the orange alts once in a while...I think white/white and teal/whitepants would be best...but at the end of the day - I dont really care what they end up being. The teal vs aqua debate I dont really get, they look mostly the same to me on the actual field. Truthfully, I just want us to win and get some banger of a player types worth buying jerseys for -___-
Shaded numbers are terrible. Just terrible. I don't know how anyone can defend them. Such a 90's look. I don't mind the updated logo, but I'll gripe about uniforms until the shaded numbers are a thing of the past.
Maybe if you turned the navy shadow into a navy boarder... that would be fine. But it needs something more than the old school picture above... Maybe make the navy like the black is on the Buc's uni:
I don't have a problem with the numbers or the drop shadow. It's not even something I usually notice. I do think those numbers in that Clayton pick look old. Those would bother me. My biggest beef is with the logo. The old one looked like a bad copy of a copy as was mentioned above and the newer one looks too much like a cartoon. I would drop the helmet on the dolphin. I don't expect it will happen b/c too many fans will b!tch about tradition and our owner won't take the risk, but it's what I would prefer. My only other real problem would be if we went to orange jerseys. We're not the Broncos or the Canes. The aqua is one of the unique things about this team and that's something we should hold on to.
All a matter of preference, I suppose, but the old numbers looked great to me. Simple, stylish, perfect.
