I mentioned the fact that football is performed in uniform and this sort of wrestling takes place in underwear in my original post, but it was not the focus of the post (which was really what I consider a real game vs. false wrestling/entertainment wrestling). I never intended to start playing "whats gayer" - though I apologize if it seemed that way.

 

If we want to play that game...Old school NBA shorts get my vote.

I don't think any wrestling fan would compare it to most sports, but say the "actors" are athletic and it takes athleticism to do. But everybody needs a little fantasy in their lives. Don't believe me look at porno. It's not enough that there is sex, there has to be a fantasy and plots.

I dunno to me the crowd makes wrestling either good or bad and I think that's why so many people love the rock because he plays the crowd in the palm of his hand

Its funny because a few seasons I played QB and the coach tried to make me firmly place my hands up on the centers nuts. Needless to say the center and I found a way to exchange the snap WITHOUT reaching second base.

Obviously you do or you wouldn't have responded to my post in such a defensive manner. Watch MMA, you can see muscular dudes dry humping each other on a regular basis (watch a GSP fight) but at least they are really fighting and are "real" modern day gladiators. Sorry, I never got the allure of pro wrestling. Brock Lesnar sure did give the UFC a big ratings boost though. But, he couldn't handle it, maybe he'll head back to WWE now after getting beat up by men half his size.
