Pretty cool to see some of the matches tonight and while they are going on you see shots of the Ring of Honor.

Stadium looks great packed like this.

It would take years of winning Super Bowls to get those lugs to fill that stadium on a regular basis.

Night and day to a Dolphin's game. They should have left the field goal posts up, would of been a great novelty to see a flying elbow off of one.

Whats sad is people who judge other people based on what they like, or do not like.

How can any fan of the NFL mock another form of entertainment for Steroid use? Really? The actual sport of wrestling is older than most sports today. Its not about being homo phobic and staring at dudes in speedo's, its about "gladiators" or hero worship etc and so forth. Personally I watch it to take my mind off of how screwed up the real world is. I amaware of the lack of realism and the scripted nature of the "sport". It gives me and my kids something to cheer for, and frankly I dont care what anyone thinks about it.

Hmm, roided out men in full uniform playing a real game vs. roided out men in underwear fake wrestling. I think I'll take the sport in this case.

Wrestling is like a sports soap opera. The wrestlers play faces (good)and heels(bad). If your a fan you admire wrestlers for how they play their part. Although I have not watched in years. When I watched I was a big fan of HHH because I believed he played the best Heel in the business. I like the Rock because he could play both parts equally as well and he had so much charisma. Also story lines are a big thing as well, which is why I quit watching the stories kept getting really bad plus they started heavily backing John Cena who to me was the Channing Tatum of wrestlers.

Because of the word in front of it.

EDIT: To elaborate, sports are, to me, supposed to be competitive. I consider track to be a sport. Take away all real competition by scripting the outcome, it's not a sport to me any longer. In this sort of wrestling, they've replaced the sport with entertainment.

I don't watch the WWE on a regular basis, but I love the entertainment value of it. I think the problem is there's this perception of wrestling fans who watch it all intense thinking it's real. This couldn't be any further from the truth based on why I enjoy it from time to time and why the people I know who are way into it enjoy it. The signs, the schtick, the outfits, the sometimes hysterical dialogue (whether intentionally hilarious or unintentionally) it's just an all around good time.

Get a load of the sports authority. People who surf or skateboard or ski aren't playing a sport unless it's in competition? What about me when I go jogging? Should I run alongside cars in order to count it as sport?

Then what's the point of saying anything about it? Matter of fact, the way you breath is slightly different from me, it still gets oxygen in for respiration, but since I don't like it, you shouldn't do it or call it breathing.

In all seriousness if you don't like wrestling that is fine. I do. Not because I think it is real, but because it is entertaining to me. I mean some people love shows like Deadliest Catch. Personally I think it is stupid, but I wouldnt criticize someone for liking it.

I'd say that no, when you're jogging you're not participating in a sport. Skateboarding and skiing by oneself sounds like a hobby to me. I like to toss the football around with friends to get my mind off things and enjoy a nice day. Playing a game of catch is not playing a sport to me - just because it causes perspiration as a result of physical activity does not make me think so. If so all sorts of things can be counted as sport: sex, climbing up stairs to get your apartment, physical labor, walking your dog, etc. I consider there to be a difference between recreational activities and sporting events.

    Do elaborate, please.

You really think that some guy riding a skateboard on the way to class is participating in a sport? wow and Yeah when I go jogging I don't think I am competing in a sport I am jogging as a hobby to exercise.

Some people consider hunting a sport. Personally I wouldn't. There is no exact definition of what is or isn't a sport.
