I've been to a RAW, and a couple of pay per views. I saw Eddy win the belt off of Brock. May have been to a WCW house show, but I forget now. They had gotten pretty bad by then. This was the one I saw http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SuperBrawl#SuperBrawl_2000 Torrie Wilson looks, well, looked, just as good in person back then.

The best part of that show, is that the biggest pop that night, by far, was when they shut Daffney up. I'll try to find the other shows.

That's cool, yeah I feel bad for you knowing that 2000 was probably the worst year WCW had for any wrestling company. The were living off the nWo fumes, and really some of the guys from the main event down weren't the greatest at that point.

 

Ah, here it was, No Way Out 2004 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Way_Out_(2004) I remember that Booker T and RVD weren't on the card, and I told my friend that I bet the E was gonna team them and have them win the tag titles soon, and the very next night they beat Flair and Batista to win the belts.

And the Raw I went to was this one. http://www.onlineworldofwrestling.com/results/raw/020617.html I didn't realize it was the one right after Austin walked out, thought it was a little further. But that was awesome, recall Rock's promo about berating Austin for taking his ball and going home. That was his first time back in 2 months, and he was a Smackdown guy then when the Brand Split sort of mattered so it was hugely special. I also recalling how insanely agile Lesnar was in the ring. He was a favourite of mine in the then developmental territory Ohio Valley Wrestling, and seeing him live was nuts.

 

Why are we talking about Wrestling?

 

I think they actually weren't so bad, they had a lot of young talent that was good, but the time was pretty much up. It wasn't great, but they had quite a bit of talent they could have rebooted and risen again.

I thought Booker T really hit a nice stride in his tag teams with RVD, and Goldust. I really miss the old days, the 80s to early 90s when everything was cartoony and I didn't care. Then everything got mature and cooler, plus the cruiserweights in WCW during the late 90s. It's really too bad that the wrestlers just really don't have it like they use to at this point.

The brand split only seemed to really matter the first year, but I'm waiting for Wrestlemania to hit Toronto again just to have gone and been to the big show at least once.
