I don't know. I tend to believe an Easter basket full of fired coaches counts. But hey, in the grand scheme of things, what really is a head coach, offensive coordinator, defensive coordinator, quarterback coach, and special teams coordinator? ..... and since Parcells was responsible for the high draft picks, I'd also include Pat White over Connor Barwin, Koa Misi over Rob Gronkowski, and Merling over Jordy Nelson, Curtis Lofton, or DeSean Jackson.
It really is sad its come to this. He is far and away the best GM we've had this century. Finally a GM who isn't overpaying for players, and actually drafts well! I mean last year, his first draft on his own he got: Pouncy- great pick, will be the starting C for years, will fight his brother for probowl nominations D Thomas- nice number 2 in a 1-2 punch w/ Bush, showed a ton of promise last year C Gates- raw, but fast, could turn into a great downfield threat Clay- The seam stretching TE everyone was whining for, as he gets more PT he should really blossom Kearse- We were too stacked on DL to put him on the active roster, so Carolina took him and he played Jimmy Wilson- Showed some great promise in relief making a few wonderful plays That's 5 out of 6 successful picks, and the other one getting playing time on another team. Not a single bust! But god forbid we let him continue to build through the draft like Philbin said he wanted. No, South Florida wants blood, there must be a scapegoat. I hope Ross sees the pattern and doesn't cave. It doesn't matter what you do, noone comes to the games in S. Fla anyway until you are winning, so just keep pushing on the rebuild, eventually the fair weather fans will be back
