They always try and make him look mature, too.

But he's still 3 foot nothing and walks around in a huge cowboy hat every f*cking episode. And he's a terrible actor on top of that.

His character kinda has that 'you can't tell me what to do, my daddy's in charge' thing going as well.

I think Olive Oil got Shane killed in a way... I mean if she doesn't have her little selfish chat with him about how she's sorry and blah blah blah, he doesn't go all nutso over killing everyone that he comes into contact with. Thoughts?

Hooking up with him is what initially did it imo.

yeah that was what started it, but i think that scene where she talks to him and says she is sorry sent shane over the edge for good, but then again in season 1 shane put rick in his crosshairs before dale came along

Yeah, that was a great finale. Rick has gone all Mussolini. hot blond chick has run into Freaky Robin Hood with a sick twist (seriously no arms on those twins? what purpose do they serve?). Next season is going to BAD ***! Looks like they are headed to that maximum security prison. I wonder if they'll be the only ones there? They are going to have fun "cleaning out" the place first. Man, that reminds of that show that used to be on MTV "Fear". That was a sweet show even if it was all staged.

And then there's stupid Olive Oil getting all mad at Rick for killing Shane... er.. newsflash dumbo, it's your fault!... You are also the one that told Rick to watch his back around Shane and that Shane was dangerous. But But... what did you have to kill him for, murderer.... ah go jump off the hoover dam...

Yeah, I liked the season finale, it had the most zombie action all season. Lost a few people that were rarely seen, and unfortunately somehow Carl didn't wander off and get lost in the zombies. Or his mom. Oh well, there's hope for that next season. It looks like it will be awesome.

I just flat out hate that skunt even more. At least Shane was interesting and conflicted, this *****'s only job is to be a tool for the writers to "otherside of the story" all of Rick's moves. If she had died instead of Shane the show would 100 times better and more layered.

In a perfect zombie world, Carl and Lori are a snack.

Unfortunately that will never happen. But hey, at least Daryl is still alive.

Pretty sure they are to keep other zombies away. Kind of similar to the guts in the first season. Notice the jaws are gone too.

Yah pretty sure Michonne (I had to at least go online and find the name of the character ;p ) probably keeps them around to mask her smell. It also means she's an entirely screwed up bad *** character :)

And as far as Shane goes..........it was a long time coming. Glad he's gone. Dale did go out cheesily....although he did get caught by surprise.

She's doing her job well then... pretty clear her character is being developed for the mass to dislike her.

I started reading the comics, you can get a digital vol (containing about 6 issues) for about 10 bucks. I've read the first two volumes and the they are really quite entertaining. They are also a lot more fast paced they than the T.V. Granted I understand you want to drag out the details more in a show, but some things were surprising. It seems they are roughly following a volume a season format.
