What college did you go to?

I went to USMC, the United States Marine Corps right out of high school.

 

not sure if you'll make it to college if you keep skipping school

 

I attend Florida Atlantic University presently.

 

Bro get you head in the game, and no more skipping school. Apply yourself and give a 110% so you can have your choices of great colleges to go to. You have to want it, and earn it, before you can make it to college. Make us proud, and make it big in life.

I have a nephew your age, and right now he is going no where, and will be down the path of trouble if he doesn't pull his head out.

 

USMC (school of hard knocks), International College, and finished at FMU

 

Yeah Straz don't skip no matter how ****ty it is. Having bad attendance isn't a good thing when applying to a College.

 

You either need to get decent grades (C Average at least), score highly on your ACT/SAT test, or be good at sports to get into a state school. Anyone can go to a community college. Private schools are a bit tougher to get into unless you're athletic, you need pretty good grades to get in.

I go to University of Northern Iowa and I really like it...

no I have to work my *** off once I enroll. Havent moved yet so not sure what schools are around.

 

Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico for two years and then NYU for 3 years... Theatre at the first one, film at the second one. :P

 

University of Rochester, B.A. in political science and history, then State University of New York at Buffalo for my law degree.

And Straz, believe me, your college preferences will change in the next 2 years. I was planning to go to Florida State when I was your age. (This despite my hatred for Free Shoes U's football team.)

UCF for my B.S. and M.S. in microbiology and molecular biology
University of Idaho (currently) working on a Ph.D. in microbiology, molecular biology and biochemistry.

This is part of the material that we covered in that past two semesters and spent last week, taking my qualifying exams - 6 hours a day for 4 days. I also did full time research and T.A.'d an under graduate microbiology class. That god it's summer. For the next 8 weeks, I can concentrate on my research.

Idaho State Univeristy, my son got his BA their and my daughter just graduated from ISU. She already has a teaching job for the next school year.

UConn for the BA, University of Florida for the MA, Pittsburgh (Godwilling) for the Ph.D., all in anthropology

 

UCLA and will be graduating this June with honors in Biochemistry. Currently applying for 35+ Medical schools right now after turning down VCU's offer and it's hefty tuition fees.

 

Cal State Long Beach under grad and grad in poli sci w/ an emphasis in IR and theory.
