Ross fails to get peyton manning to boost ticket sales and he does the next best thing in his mind.Trade for tim tebow.
Talk about putting the franchise behind for the next 5 years.

I could see the Jags going after Tebow, if Peyton goes to Denver, that is.

Still not sure how AZ could sign Manning with their cap situation. I still think Miami is in the drivers seat, Ross and Ireland's buffoonery not withstanding.

I was commenting on Tebow coming here.

But yes, it is still destiny. Expect Peyton in a Phins jersey in a few days.

When you won only 1 playoff game in the last 12 years and haven't been to a superbowl in 27 years I think we always have reason to worry with this team. For me until proven otherwise the glass is always half empty.

unfortunately that hasn't meant much as of late. Moreover, do u disagree that most know he is not a long term solution for anyone?

Why? He already blew a 2nd rounder on a wildcat QB who couldn't run between the tackles. If anything, Tebow is the perfect wildcat QB. Just shows the lack of vision with Tony (no pun) and Jeff when they coached the damn kid at the Senior Bowl.

I think Ireland is too smart to allow Tebow to come onto this team. Just because he made a mistake before in White doesn't mean he makes it again in Tebow.

But pump is right, maybe he does just accept it but its his job on the line this time and I dont believe he gets behind Tebow.

Who gives a sheit...Until Ireland is officially sacrificed at midfield per Billuminati specifications, this team will never amount to anything.

Ross isn't all about the money... he wants to win, first and foremost. But if you guys want to replace "give the fans a good experience" with "all about the money" then feel free. He is letting the football minds do their thing while trying to make Dolphins Stadium (or whatever its called now) an enjoyable experience.

And the report that Manning is down to Arizona and Denver is very convenient... but I doubt its true. Manning has visited those teams and he will visit Miami tomorrow, IMO. He'll have his decision made by Tuesday evening and we will probably hear about it then or Wednesday morning. Just how I see it playing out, IMO. We're last to bat... usually we are first to bat. Things are different.

Just remember, Jeff Fisher was coming to Miami is what everyone said before he wound up going to St. Louis.

If the Dolphins do acquire Tebow I will no longer be a fan of this team. Thats saying something because I have stuck with the $hitpile of a franchise for 24+ years now, but Tebow to the Dolphins ends it for me.. I mean that... It ends it completely.

Trust me I don't want to be right but if the rumors are true that ross wanted to sign manning without a workout that tells me he is just trying to sell tickets. He will do the same thing with tebow just try to sell and screw the real fans over.

Since you know so much about how the Dolphns operate, I think you should petition Ross to be the VP of operations for the team. Your instinct and inside knowledge is really uncanny.

Also, do you believe only the negative rumors, or all rumors?

I am a Tebow fan and believe that he can be a long-term successful NFL QB. However, he would be a horrid fit for what Philbin and Sherman do. I expect that Tebow will be either in Jacksonville if Denver gets Manning or in Denver if they don't get Manning.

Actually, if we miss on Manning and Flynn? I could see Tebow being targeted. From a business perspective it makes a lot of sense. Tebow will draw fan interest, sell tickets, and the FO can sell the "Tebow-just-needs-time-to-develop-as-a-QB" for the next two years (easily).

What would it cost? Probably our third rounder, as the Jags will be pretty interested too, for mostly the same reasons as above.

All I know is that I just made some trades on madden 09 to reflect our current team with Peyton manning and I just made an 85 yard pass from Peyton to Marshall for a TD. It was beautiful!

you know what is really funny? all this crap speculation based on what the media tells us and the "perception" that they want us to digest and simmer in. the reality is no one really knows what the hell is going on till it actually happens. the only thing we know for sure coming from our front office, owner included is that the priority is to upgrade the play from the QB position, period. all this Ross is a clown for this or that and Ireland is a joke and needs to be fired is just a bunch of crap. some assclowns in New England drive our media hype to a frenzy telling us who we are based on half truths and manipulated facts and we all go crazy and begin to knaw on each other like rabid animals. we all have our ideas of what we should be and should do but letting all these outside sources that know no more than the rest of us whip us into a frenzy because that is how they make their bread is just beyond me. this organization has made mistakes but reality is they are no more serious or a joke than any other organization and their mistakes, they just aren't getting the attention and allowing the frenzy that we do.

reality is that worst case scenario we end up going with MM and upgrading around him for one more year and we are a better team than last year just because our coaching staff is finally reasonably competent. is that ideal? no but not horrible either and some of the prospects we drooled over this year that did not come out will be available next year. maybe I'm an idiot cuz I'm no guru or I don't break down tape and follow all the minute stats available but I have been a football fan all my life and a Dolphins fan since the Golden era of 72 and I am reasonably perceptive. I think Ross has got something in the make up of this coach/staff and I think we are actually gonna be better in the long run weather we get Manning or not.

until Manning signs anywhere I'm just gonna log on and laugh at all the media manipulation that is going on and at all the people that are caught up in the frenzy. Manning or not these are still my beloved Miami Dolphins.

Lol, I never even said I wanted manning my point is ross seems more interested in selling tickets than producing a winner. If you are going to sign him to a contract without working him out that tells me all he cares about is selling tickets. My point about the fu.....gator reunion is proof that he will do anything to sell tickets ask all the hurricane fans.
The dolphins haven't earned the realistic fans trust because they haven't been a contender since the mid nineties. You want be postive its a free country if I want to be negative thats my choice. You don't like the post don't respond.

If Tebow ends up the Dolphins QB I might just have to hang it up on all these years of support and just follow the local team or something. No way I could handle that - if that makes me "not a true kvlt fan" than so be it, but that **** would be horrendous.

This is maybe the only thing that could stop me from watching the dolphins or the NFL I pray we don't stoop so low to trading for Tebow just to sell tickets.
