perhaps it's a global marketing scheme for a massive alien invasion movie to be released this summer starring The one at the 13:00'ish minute mark seems like a complete fake b/c no one else seems to be stopping to figure out what the heck's going on. The one lady keeps walking her dog like nothing...... and the 3 people walking--- well, they're walking rather than looking up to the sky. My 2 cents.
Ya the viral marketing explanation is common, but the second video from the Rays game pretty much dispels that if the noises are the same from other videos. Thats another point up for contention id love to get to the bottom of.
