#3- Jets fans will be out of their minds #2- Watching the Pats choke on their Kryptonite is always a good thing #1- Peyton Manning will be itching to come back as a Dolphin (hopefully)
6. Highly touted first round QB beats sixth round QB so the fans understand how important the position is.
Hey Patriots...
boy I will say reading the 33 long game threat at patriot is awesome! So glad the Giants won! Man has the last 5 years sucked for the patriots! 18-1 and now this. Brady has Peytons number, Peyton has Eli's and Eli has Bradys.
8) The Patriots have morphed into a team that cannot win the big one. Those drops on their last drive were chokes in the clutch.
If the Pats are smart they will move up in the draft and get a playmaker on offense. It was obvious they did not have a legit talent to turn to when Gronk wasn't healthy. A Pats team with a big play WR or a Trent Richardson would be scary but right now they are very beatable.
How do you figure the Giants winning the Super Bowl has any influence at all on Peyton Manning wanting to go to Miami? Am I missing something? I really can't see a link in any way.
Their secondary has been their achille's heel all season, and it showed last night. Eli shredded them. Nobody could stop Nicks. They were exposed.
I wrote hopefully to him coming to the Phins which is the part you missed and the link can be found at www.imissedthatpart.com. While we can't all be as insightful or stats gurus as some I don't think I'm incorrect in stating that PM wants to come back and play somewhere or mislead anyone into thinking that he has committed or leaning to the Dolphins. Honestly it was a little humor that some got and others didn't. Thanks for policing the thread and clearing it up as I would not want to mislead anyone into thinking I had inside info as to PM coming here.
10) Having Wes Welker drop that pass, after slagging off the Phins and saying how he wished he was with the Pats he has now gone through 18-1 and dropping the catch that would have won the SB, ha ha Karma is a B@$%h
this is lose-lose for dolphin fans. dont you all know how many obnoxious stupid new yorkers live down here?
I don't know if the win makes Peyton any more likely to go to Miami but it does make it less likely he'll bow into retirement. I don't think he much likes the idea of little brother Eli having two rings to his one.
NFL Sirius is reporting that Manning is willing to restructure his contract to stay in Indy. No link the reports have been on the updates all morning.
Sounds like gamesmanship to me. I think he knows they're going in a new direction and wants to put the onus on them.
It's always good to see the jests, pasties and jills lose any game, but especially good to see them lose a SB. I also love Giselle's berating the WRs of the pasties, but you know, in football, you win as a team and you lose as a team. Reading some of the online stuff from the Boston herald today was priceless, they were beating up badly on Brady, how he was not the QB that he used to be. I even commented back in one of them that as 'bad' as they thought Brady played, they won't have him forever and he'll never be replaced (and we all know that)...so they should enjoy what he does and has done while they can.
First of all, you need to learn how to reply to someone without being hostile and condescending. I simply asked a question. There was no need for your snide remarks. There are lot of people on this forum who recently have gone mad with Peyton Manning fever. It's evidenced by the fact that there are now over 10 different threads pertaining to Manning in the main forum. There are a lot of illogical scenarios being postulated. I'm not saying Manning wont come here or that I know more than anyone else, I'm just trying to keep people grounded in reality.
Its Monday....not that days make a difference anymore. I took your reply the same way you took mine (although admittedly mine was meant to be ****ty). The post was humor which I felt was obvious and noted that it was my hope that it would happen. Good luck with keeping this crowd grounded in reality.
Because the best qb in the league and one of the best of all time just missed an entire season watching his little brother win the super bowl and beat him out for number of sb rings... ITCHING is right, as far as coming to Miami, like GW said "hopefully"... thats what YOU missed God Bless haha
They were 13-3 in the regular season. They were the top ranked team in the AFC and they lost by four points to the Giants, only after Wes Welker dropped a catch that he makes 99 times out of a hundred. So they may be beatable as you state, but I sure didn't see a lot of other NFL teams beating them this past season.
