Based on what do you draw that conclusion?

 

Yeah, this guy sounds like a terrible person...gives all the credit to the qb's. Gives his mom the car after the mvp win. Terrible person and player. Not sure why we got him....anyone? Bueller?

Chad Henne, Chad Pennington for all of 2 snaps, Tyler Thigpen, Matt Moore...it's not like he's lying about not having good QBs to throw to him. It's refreshing to hear an athlete tell the truth instead of sugar coating it and giving a PC response. Especially when everyone else knows it's true as well anyway.

 

I have a feeling Philbin will trade him to move up in the draft.

Werent you watching the game? Marshall clearly is not elite. He droped the first pass that went his way.

 

I know everyone loves potential, but sometimes the fascination with draft picks cracks me up. I always think of this clip when people get wound up about potential.

I think Marshall having this type of game is big for us... It can make a QB like Manning want to play for us, knowing what Marshall can do with an elite QB

 

so elite talent receiver gets thrown to by elite qbs and puts up good numbers who would have guessed

 

Trading Marshall to move up and grab a QB is like trading your only gun for bullets.

 

You got your analogy backwards. Trading Marshall is like trading bullets for a gun. A QB is the triggerman.

 

I would still really like to know how you came to your conclusion that we will be trading Marshall. Or is "I have a feeling" your only justification? It's okay if it is, I'm just asking.

 

No, I meant what I said. Because now you basically have no weapons.

But either way, you're screwing the QB you acquired.

 

I just see him being the main player the Rams would want if we were to trade up. That is why I have a feeling he'll be traded. Hopefully I'm wrong.

 

What has having Marshall gotten us? And we can easily add weapons through FA/draft - maybe not one on Marshalls level, but again it all starts with the QB.

 

They won't trade Marshall so let's stop discussing it.

Now I wonder...will he have fewer drops with a better QB? I think so, but I also think might still drop some...so let's not think he'll suddenly be the best WR in the NFL if the Dolphins get a top QB. But he should be much better in the red zone with one.

 

I wasn't aware there were people still thinking we're going to move up for RG3. Not that it would necessarily be a bad move, it's just that Washington and especially Cleveland are in much better situations to pull off the move.

 

So, let me get this straight. You'd be willing to trade a proven commodity, and try to replace that commodity with a FA we may not even get and a draft prospect that may bust out?

 

If it gets us our franchise QB - damn straight I will.
