Adam Schefter reports that Fisher has chosen to coach the Rams.....blessing or not??? At least we have a decision and can now bring in a younger/fresher mind. This might be a good thing when all is said and done. I for one am now relieved with this outcome and Fisher can jump off a cliff! LOL. We have become a joke. We are no longer a "destination". we must now overpay for free agents, and we can no longer count on getting the coaching candidates that we want. This is all very new to this franchise. No longer charmed. But definitely cursed.
I thinks it's sad that for 2 years in a row Ross has sought out the top Coach and got turned down twice.. I don't know if not having Fisher will be better or not but the fact that we can't lure anyone to us tells a story in its self..
I think thisis a good thing. Fisher was the only "big name" coach this year and that made his stock rise. Let's find a younger and more hungry coach to lead us into the future and turn this franchise around!!
Breaking on Los Angeles ESPN radio as well. Oh well, good luck to Fisher and the Rams. Now what do we do? I say take the interim tag off of Todd Bowles, and stand pat. All the QB's come out next year, so we aren't going to get better than Matt Moore unfortunately. Keep Daboll and the principles of the offense in tact and try to add talent to this team. Qb gets addressed next year.

Guessing it came down to final say. Ross either didn't offer it or was only willing to go 50/50 with Ireland and someone breaking the tie if they couldn't agree.
Can you say rookie head coach... LOL I thought the Rams didn't offer him enough money and it wasn't an issue in Miami. If so Fisher just went to a 2-14 team with an over rated QB for less money. Jesus Christ what the hell is Ross doing to this organization. Saw this...... http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7459236/jeff-fisher-coach-st-louis-rams-source-says
(Ahem) This came down to two things, as I said a while ago. 1) The ineptness of Ross and Ireland and 2) LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE #LEVERAGE Thanks for playing, Mr. Ross. You just got LEVERAGED.
This organization has become a shell of the organization that I've loved for over 39 years. It might be time for a divorce. I've had it with putting so much emotional stock into something that only returns, at best, mediocrity.
Ireland costs another coach. I'm not upset about missing out on Fisher, but it's a problem when we can't get the guy we want because of our GM. Whether Ireland is a good GM or not, if coaches won't work with him, you cannot keep him on board. I can't believe Ross doesn't get that.
No it doesn't. If we aren't a destination anymore, that means we were. Well, Section, while we were a destination, how many championships have we won the past 20 years?
Dear god. Regardless of what you think of Fisher, as a Phins fan you cannot be happy that people are choosing mediocre franchises like THE FREAKING RAMS over us. This has been happening much too often for the franchise and is very disheartening to me as a fan. I am not pinning this on Ross, just expressing how disappointing it is that this has become a trend here in Miami. Shame.
Anyway, **** Fisher. Here's hoping Bradford continues to regress and that Fisher has as much luck winning more than 4 games as the past 2 coaches there.
That doesn't matter. It is BETTER to be a destination than NOT. it is better for free agents to WANT to come here. It is better to ALWAYS get your way. Period. I don't know what you are arguing.
Wow, from **** that's coming out now regarding Ross' loyalty to Ireland, these guys are WAYYY more ****ing clueless than even I imagined.
I'm telling you change the name to the "Miami Settlers"! They settle for Ireland, settle for Moore, now settle for a d list coach. It's a D class franchise now.
First off, I respect your opinions. Second, I don't need help. I didn't accuse anyone in my post. I am just expressing how frustrating it is to see our team failing to acquire the pieces it wants.
