is it a good or bad feeling?

 

I think it is becoming possibly obvious that he is waiting for some activity from the colts...

 

I can't believe no decision had been made yet. Been out of town all week.. Expected we would have a new coach by now.. Damn.

 

Finite, but there are more candidates than just Fisher. I don't believe that he is so head and shoulders above the others that we need to put the entire organization on hold waiting for him to deign to favor us with his presence.

 

Problem is nobody else who has been trotted out as a candidate is all the appealing.

 

can you imagine if after all this we pull bill cowher out of the bag?

 

I believe Ross thinks Fisher IS head and shoulders above the others. And whether he is or not the best coach for the job, I'm sure the bean counters have told Ross that in terms of ticket sales and "big splash hire" appeal, Fisher is absolutely head and shoulders above the other candidates.

 

Are we really supposed to believe that neither team has offered him the position? If they have, what he wants is to compare the numbers before he commits. Of course it's leverage.

 

We should ask GB for permission to interview Clements or Moss.
Philbin has more important things on his plate right now.

Failing that lets give Carmichael an interview.

To hire yes, to interview it shouldn't be necessary. I mean, didn't we just interview their OC?

 

That was permitted in a bye week. There will not be anymore of those until after the conference title game. However, the Rams supposedly interviewed the Bronco defensive coordinator. Might need to do some research on this.
