Why would it not be legal? He can see over the handle bars and we're under the assumption that he has a license, no?
My point is......me wearing a seat belt or not would never effect anyone involved on the road with me.....accident or otherwise except MYSELF. Yet, if I am driving down to road with no seat belt I can be pulled over. Why? It's not safe for me? That's my choice. Do I get pulled over for smoking too? Or eating fatty foods. How unsafe is this? This guy slams the breaks hes going to fly like a bag of potatoes leaving a 19th century catapult.
hmmm I don't know about that. Worst case scenario he flys into his handle bars. Thats what has happened to me when I had to slam on my motorcycle breaks. Especially since the front usually turns. Not sure how it is on a 3 wheeler, but I don't think it will stop exactly the way you think it will.
That's not 100% accurate SICK, its not only for protecting you from yourself, its protecting you if I cause the accident, and you survive it with less injuries or death. Insurance rates are lower based on significant reduction of Medical costs, and of course Vehicular Manslaughter by you using safety restraints that protect you from your own accident, or me causing it. As far as no seat belts on Motorcycles....yup its a loop hole for sure. I think they should be forced to where the Bandoleer-style seat-belts when on a motorcycle. Two straps criss-crossing and connecting them to the bike. P.S. a strong wind will knock that "little person MIDGET" off the bike (politically correct and accurate)
You can't have a seat belt on a motorcycle. If you crash and the bike say skids into the median the wrong way, your seat belt turns into a death trap.
thats why they have a helmet stooopid! death trap???? Pictures would make it more believable.....ready, go!
well it would keep the "human Frisbee" from flying into my clean windshield....amiriiiiiggggghhhhtttt!
you are or you're. Boom goes the Dynamite! P.S. yes, he would get pulled over for indecent exposure for "mooning" someone....I agree!
I agree. And I don't think the insurance argument is justifiable either. That same logic can be applied to restrictions against people eating fried foods or participating in almost any activity enough politicos would consider dangerous.
Meh. By definition motorcycles ARE deathtraps. In the insurance industry motorcycle riders are known as temporary citizens for good reason.
So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or, at this point, is it like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?
Geez, that Ewok picture made me laugh out loud at work. I'm tempted to send that pic to my wife at her workplace, but my luck she'll get fired.
