Schotty has had 4 chances, plus he's almost 70. I really want no part of him (due to age and time out of the NFL). I'm curious, what fair and prudent assumptions are you making as to why Billick isn't getting interviewed by ANY team that is out there with an opening?
All you need to know about Billick is that he was scared to go for a win on 4th and inches against a winless Miami team.^
I think Mularkey might have screwed up any shot of getting a HC gig with any team after that playoff performance. And even if Mike Smith steps in and says it was his call to be conservative, then you've got to question why the HC has no faith in the OC.
Mularky must have had his mind on the interview and not the game today. They've stepped back in so many ways on offense that I hope they don't really consider him.
They wer shut out and stepped on. Two 4th & less than a yard and they can't convert, 0.0 points, Matty Meltdown, no thanks.
I'm convinced. After seeing Mularkey's team today, he is the PERFECT man for the Miami HC opening. We seem to love mediocrity, and he might even make us even more mediocre than we were before. Sign me up!
Not sure. I'm guessing maybe these teams know something NFL front offices know that us fans don't. I don't much care either way. I have made my mind up about what I think about Mike Mularkey as a prospective head coach. Not that it means anything.
