My wife and I are really depressed about not being able to move (see my thread in the reaching out forum) So we are going to spend some well earned, saved money we WERE going to use to move, to buy a xbox 360, with kinect and some games. Any advice? I know the kinect bundle with a 4g Xbox looks awesome, but 4g isnt really anything. I want to get the UFC Trainer for the xbox, and I want a sports game....probably going with ncaa or something. We will need to get another controller I am assuming, any advice on fun games for family? kinect? or FPS/sports? Thanks!
I am not a fan of UFC trainer. I feel it isn't that great at tracking certain movements (It could be because I am fat) and there is A LOT of repetition of sayings by the trainer. I do suggest Dance Central 2.
the price for insurance would be 600$ a month with the points on her license. If they even will insure us (state farm said no) I have emailed the governor, and they put me in contact with the director of motor services for Florida. Hope they can help.
It's so simple! haha. We just got the cars, so they would never sell for the price we paid (with finance charges, interest etc) Also, we have a 4 year old child in daycare, we both need to be able to pick him up or drive him for emergencies if any were to occur.
If it turns out you cant move, dont buy an xbox. Drop the kid off at the in laws and go on a cruise. Eat until you gain 10 pounds drink like samphin doing one of his manifesto's and enjoy some alone time. Should cheer you up, if not you can push your wife off the boat and then move to Orlando. Also and on a side note, I thought south florida was famous for traffic lawyers who could make points dissapear? Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Some fun games: GTA4, Red Dead Redemption, Skyrim, Halo 3, Halo Reach, Gears of War 3, NBA 2k11/12, Call of Duty Black Ops, Virtua Tennis 3, Project Gotham Racing series, EA Sports MMA, FIFA series. Just some of the many awesome games for 360.
With all due respect, horse****. I was able to find and buy a house in my dad's name, with my mom (his ex) as his power of attorney, move his stuff from Macon, GA to Ocala, FL, convert a bedroom to a handicapped bathroom, get a wheel chair ramp built, my stuff moved and spend a week and a half training to be a primary caregiver in Atlanta...in just 2.5 months while dealing with the fact my father was now paralyzed. We have only one car that my wife uses to drive an hour each way for work. You can do this.
Thats incredible bro. But really, heres the dilema......it somehow has not been caught yet in NC. We have a 4 year old son, and at any time, if I am out of town for buisness or whatever, she wont be able to drive him anywhere without a license. What if I get hurt and break my leg and I can't drive? Then what happens? We can't risk her getting in more trouble (arrested) with more points on her license than someone with a DUI Manslaughter. The good news is, I have gotten a response already, they asked me to write a letter to a judge in Palm Beach County. I am doing that ASAP and sending it fedex overnight.
In 3 years. They don't become active on her license till we pay the fines (october of 2011).....so yes, we will eventually move to Florida, but not right now
Kinect games: Gunstringer, Child of Eden, and Dance Central 2. Forza 4 has voice controls for menus which is really great (if you like racing games at all). Tons of great non-kinect games.
You and your wife have a thing for Zombie Movies? If so, grab Left 4 Dead 2 (I believe you can download all of the levels from L4D 1 with that game).
What insurance company is charging you that much anyways? Maybe thats your problem. And not that I'd recommend this, but you can always be like 75% of the rest of the Floridians here and not have insurance.
Unless he wants to play locally with a second player. There is no co-op split screen with Dead Island. I had to return the game because of that.
