Hey Jimmy, keep the Ints and Blocks coming. Can't wait to see him push Vontae and Sean for starting time. Competition brings out the best in everyone and here's hoping Jimmy makes the team better.
Just watched it. Wow, talk about being screwed. Was in jail for a whole year only to have to stay after a hung jury, where 11 out of 12 wanted to acquit?? Then another nine months. Sheesh! Sounds like it should have been more obvious this was self-defense or an accident right away, and yet he ends up in jail for nearly two years. Good for him making the most of things since. Not that I wasn't rooting for him before, but I'm a big fan right now!
He has been a great find by Ireland. The guy brings the wood and makes plays. I wonder if we couldn't really use the guy at a safety spot. Anyway you see this guy nearly every week out there making plays whenever given the chance. He's one of the few guys I have seen not disappoint after shining in camp from the start. Most get alot of talk till the pads go on and then disappear. Not this guy.
My thinking is, Vontae Davis would be a great trade chip with Wilson taking over for him add Jovon Johnson, CFL DPOY to compete with Nolan Carroll for the Dime slot and keep Will Allen another yr.
Which guy? They interviewed 3 men on camera besides Jimmy. First, a Montana asst coach, 2nd, his lawyer, and 3rd, the current Montana head coach.
Given the way he hits, I wonder how he would do as the FS... Obviously quite a diff position but some like A Rolle from the giants have done it with some success. Last game for the giants not included
If it got us to move up for Luck without too many other draft picks, I would agree. But with today's throwing NFL, I don't think you can have too many awesome corners, so unless the trade netted us Luck, I don't think I would trade Vontae.
