Don't look now but the browns have just moved past us in the draft and i am not sure how it works with the bills.
The browns have the steelers and ravens and not likely they win either of these games. The skins have a good shot at winning next week at home against the vikes but they are at philly the following week. The bills play denver and the pats but maybe we will get lucky and the pats have the 2nd bye rapped up and bench brady. The darkhorse is the jags at 4-9 i am not sure if the new coach will stick gabbert or draft another qb.
The bottomline is i hate the jets and pats but i am rooting for them because above all else i want a chance to draft a potenial franchise qb and not get stuck with somebody like landry jones.

The Rams and Panthers have the best available picks and they both have QB's. One of these teams should deliver RG3.

Browns with that spare #1 pick were always going to land a Qb if they wanted one.

Think the Rams wouldn't trade the #2 overall for the #4-#7 overall, the #25 and a #77?

I would, in a heart beat.

    the poor house
7-9 and 8-8 does us absolutley nothing for us You guys know that other teams tank it just look at the colts we could very be the biggest losers in the draft all because we won meaningless games. this is why i am sticking to my taking Weeden campaign. we have too many holes to fill to trade up. we always do this to ourselves and what we get in return is a crappy season after crappy season. if we take ot Levy Adcock in rd 1 and take Weeden in rd 2 then draft tightend and wr and two more olinemen we would be ready to compete next year.

The Colts aren't trading the pick. We'll have to give up a metric ****ton to get Barkley now.

Maybe Nolan Carroll will build enough value to be a draft-day trade piece?

The problem with your theory is............you are speaking like it is a given that all the draft picks make an immediate impact. More than ANYTHING, we need a big talent QB to take us to the next level. We are close now, but we HAVE TO HAVE a QB that will make the difference.

Agree we have areas, that we all know, could use improvement. But IMHO none that would be a bigger improvement than a QB upgrade not at a more important position. Been since 1983.....ugh

I'd pass on him truth be known Aqua, would prefer RG3 if he comes out.

That said, if a Fisher comes in and say "Matt Moore is my guy" I'd be fine with it, we need OL pieces and some things on the D imo

And playmakers on offense, guys who hit homeruns.

    Dwayne Allen would be nice.
Maybe TY Hilton in the later rounds.

I honestly would be more than satisfied if we could find a way to get Griffen

I actually see that as a drawback Aqua, USC has the best athletes and Barkley uses them without really doing anything spectacular to do so.

RG3 plays for a team with good athletes but not up and down the roster, and especially on the OL, and still produces, I'll take the prospect who can succeed in that situation over one who has a Kalil on the OL and draft picks at the skill positions, imo it speaks to more upside.

Big difference in the NFL defenses as well, he would not have the natural advantage of "olympic class track man vs engineering major Cb"

When a guy can succeed with lesser talent around him, it is something I look for, especially in a sort of sandlot style of offense, if he makes the jump you have something, with Barkley you have a guy who played behind the "best" and threw passes "to the best", what happens when he is tossing to the best Wr at a FCS school?

I'd rather see what a Qb with elevated talent over a guy who has to deal with stepping down in talent advantages.

This is one of the reasons why Luck is intruguing, granted Doug Baldwin is blowing up in Seattle, but for the most part he was tossing passes to engineering majors not primo athletes.

How so exactly? I'm not saying he is, but I'd like to know what puts Barkley that high when compared to Griffin.

Also, Barkley was eligible to win the Heisman.

While valid reasons to like a QB, I feel that Griffin has shown a great command of his teammates and play calling. His teammates loved him. I can't comment so much on the reads, etc., but coverages never seemed to hurt him. I also question how one could see these things by putting tape of the two players next to each other.

Ireland is more likely to trade back instead of up. Though this time pressure is on to find a QB...

trade the hell out of the draft to get barkley if you can....if the incoming coach likes what he sees from Moore and thinks they get a Jones or Tannehill and let them sit and learn behind Moore, I guess we'll live with that...we can't control it, i'm done worrying about it...time to move on...although this will be the most exciting draft in a while...of course, all this qb talk could be done if they had just drafted Ryan Mallett when they had the chances too
