After putting in a Bills retread who couldn't get it done in Buffalo after multiple seasons, and us doing absolutely nothing on offense, what would you be willing to give to acquire Andrew Luck.

Would you trade the whole draft to move up to select him.......if Players like him only come along once every 10 years, what would you be willing to give???

As much as I'd like to trade the farm for Luck, we have other wholes to fill, such as Right Tackle, Pass Rusher (to take the pressure off of Wake), and the like.

You got to admit though it is tempting. Wise.....not so sure but definitely tempting. It could make us instantly respectable......................................

I'm not sure trading away our entire draft for a player who's never played a snap in the NFL would make us respectable.

Like Silverphin said, we have other holes to fill too. I'd rather draft another QB and keep my draft picks.

For a franchise QB, on this team? Depending upon how many spots we'd have to move up, and if it was a reasonable jump, yes, I would trade a whole draft to move up and select one. Probably Luck or Barkley. However... there might be other franchise QBs in this draft. I reserve final judgement until next March. ;)

Losman looked like crap but it was hardly the environment for a QB who was signed halfway through the year to be expected to go in and win. And to do so while Eagles pass rushers are pouring through the Oline like a sieve.

I still say dont trade the entire draft. Go for Barkely or RG3.

Yes, I would give up multiple high picks to move up for Luck. You only get limited chances to draft a franchise QB.

whi ole you guys might be impressed with Bess and Hartline I would trade those guys and a 1 st rd in 2012 for Luck but what is wrong with drafting Griffin and then draft a big wr and then draft 3 olinemen and 1 more tightend and go all out get a real offense .

As many picks as needed. We could get some support on the rt side via free agency and with Taylor/FS playing better. Its the biggest and most important need by miles!

no i wouldnt trade a whole draft for luck, im sick of hearing people on espn and other places saying he is a sure thing he wont bust, bull**** there is not such thing in the nfl or any other sport of a sure thing all it takes is 1 shot and youre career may be over or you will never be the same, or maybe he gets hit alot and his confidence gets shot who knows?

One of my nightmares is waking up and having JP Losman as the quarterback for the phins, however he is the third string quarterback. There are not many third string quarterbacks I would want to start for the Dolphins.

F@#K Luck!! I hope the dude is a huge *** bust!! He's a great prospect coming into the league but that's where it ends. He could be the next big flop for all that anyone knows. I'm not gonna say that he hasn't played extremely well in college but to bet the farm on a QB that hasn't taken a snap outside of college football and put us without high picks for years to come is just too much imo. I'd much rather take a chance on RG3, Barkley or Foles. Players that have also played really well and have a lot of promise but won't cost us everything. NO QB is a sure thing or any player for that matter.....I sure as hell don't want to give up a bunch of future picks for a player that could very well flop just like another player that would cost us a lot less

I'm all in for starting Devlin, we're not going to win another game this season anyway and I don't want us to so we are in the hunt for Barkley or Griffin3. Not interested in giving up the whole draft for Luck, he's good but not THAT good. Asides; what good would Luck be behind this OL? He'd be killed back there and we could ruin him. Who's he going to have to throw to besides BM? We still have too many needs to go for Luck.

I NEVER have, had or will be on the Suck for Luck bandwagon. It was horrible to even see our fans back the whole idea. If we got him than great but to wish to loose just to have a CHANCE at getting him is /was ridiculous. Plenty of good talent other than Luck in the draft that look capable of being a quality QB in the NFL. If Luck fails, which he probably won't. What then???? Like I said, Luck is a GREAT prospect but he is just that.....a prospect. The overall talent gap from Luck to the rest of the top 5 QB prospects isn't a huge gap imo. They are all really good looking players and they all have the tools to be good NFL caliber QB's

I don't think there's any question you trade the whole draft for Andrew Luck. The Colts will laugh at such a trade proposal however.

No. You don't need Peyton Manning to win the super bowl. You need a good QB. A great QB. But You don't need Peyton. The Jets get to the AFCG with Mark Sanchez. You pick the best QB you can in the first. But you don't trade the farm.

Problem is, there are no guarantees when it comes to the NFL. Nothing says Luck will be the next Peyton Manning. It's a risk we don't need to take when there are other QB's out there we can draft without surrendering the rest of the draft as well as future top draft picks.

yes, i hope we win a few mow meaningless games so we don't even pick in the top ten.

i want to see daniel thomas play. i want to see gates play. use the last games like exhibition games, they mean just as much. as a team you gain more by seeing what you have instead of scraping by with starters like columbo against piss poor teams.

put long on IR while your at it. dude doesnt need to end his career getting hurt for meaningless games.

Uhm, well, my first thought upon opening this one was:

    2 Socks is slipping

We MAY be down to Losman because Sparano's Craptastic Oline got yet another #1 Qb knocked out and the #2 Qb knocked out, third season in a row for that BTW, Losman is the third string guy.

It would track if Luck were the third string Qb, however the OP was so illogical it was nearly incomprehensible?

Losman playing has nothing to do with drafting Luck as he would have been out under the current circumstance. Unless of course he has an "S" on his chest and somehow could survive the 40 or more sacks the OL has allowed.

    And more speculation from "reporters".
Bad fanbase- Try a fanbase dying for a winner. Turn it around and these fans will be dry humping you like a puppy on a pillow. If an "A list coach" isn't up to swalloing the **** that comes with the territory he isn't A list.
Bad culture- We have a 2nd year owner who has said no to aquiring Orton and hasn't had an issue opening the bank account for other players. The rubber stamp on Orton has proved him right. Granted he made a mistake in how he approached the coaching situation in the offseason. You have a team that had a lame duck coach this season bounce back for a nice yet small stretch and show that the team has talent. The team hasn't had a Vikings debacle or a Raiders owner meddling or a Cincinatti police lineup.
Bad Venue- Isn't this going ot be a football only stadium soon? Other than a nightclub that clearly should have been a stripclub what's wrong with it? You wanna fill seats? Then win and everyone will fill the place up.

Rooting your team to lose. To me that is complete blasphemy. I couldn't look myself in the mirror if I sold out like that.
Just my integrity as a Dolphin fan.

Has nothing to do with controlling it. Actually the fact that we can't control it makes rooting against them look that much more ridiculous.
