The NFL has released a portion of next year’s schedule (without dates and times), and of the Dolphins’ 10 non-division 2012 opponents, only two entered Sunday with a winning record. The home schedule, aside from the AFC East opponents, looks very favorable: Jacksonville, Tennessee, St. Louis, Seattle and the AFC West opponent that finishes in the same position in its division as the Dolphins do. For the Dolphins, that would preferably be Kansas City — whom they routed this season — rather than San Diego or perhaps even Denver. Next year’s road schedule, aside from the division opponents, is more difficult: Houston, Indianapolis, San Francisco, Arizona and the AFC North team that finishes in the same position as the Dolphins. That could be Cleveland if Miami remains in last place in the AFC East. Read more: http://www.miamiherald.com/2011/11/28/2521381/miami-dolphins-look-to-have-easier.html#ixzz1f1QeaMaj
I remember one year the Falcons went 7-9 and I saw the next years schedule had them playing us. I figured that would be an easy game. Turns out they went 14-2 that year and beat us 38-16. You never know which team will be an easy game.
No see this is where you are wrong, Goodell saw your plea for mercy, and then called his best friend Bob Kraft, who then deferred to Bellichik who made that decision.... BB runs the NFL stoooooooooooooooopid.....
Yes but that's better for the Dolphins! Seattle is a tough place to play in whether they are a good or bad team. And you can never look at the schedule before a season and say what will be easy or hard...I'm sure people thought the 49ers and Broncos would be easy wins this season. The only thing you can take away from looking at the schedule is the environment the game is played in, like said game against Seattle above. It's now in Miami instead, which is better. Seattle always has a chance to win in that stadium, especially when a team flies such a long distance.
There's a good site that shows where the phins will be playing each and every year on a rotational basis. I alreayd knew about a year ago that they were scheduled to come to S.F. If I find it, I will let you know when their next scheduled visit to Seattle is. Until then, start looking at flights to SFO. EDIT: It looks like 2016 is the next time. EDIT #2: THE NFL ANNOUNCED that in future years, teams will travel to either Kansas City and San Diego OR to Oakland and Denver when playing the entire AFC West, and to San Francisco and Arizona OR to Seattle and St. Louis when playing the entire NFC West. The actual matchups have not yet been announced, so AFC West and NFC West opponents are subject to change. Matchups against AFC and NFC West teams beyond 2010 that are not confirmed appear in italics. In other words, we only go to Seattle if we go to St. Louis as well, and Oakland and Denver, or the other two pairings. Interesting.
LOL you really think your petition or whatever you wanna call this, would have changed goodell´s mind...
Looks like I'm going to a Dolphins game next year. I hope the 49ers are worse next year cause their D would probably tear us apart this year.
It looks easier on paper but u never know how much these teams will upgrade in the offseason and it depends on who's our HC next year! With the fist pump lover we won't win 6 games next year, no matter who we play against!
We have a lot to fix in FA and draft, so everything can't/won't be fixed within one year, thanks to Mr. Ross! We could have been in a better situation by now but ofc we're not!
I would be pissed too. It hurts the fans that live far away from their teams. The closet Miami comes to Winnipeg is Minni and its only every 8 years also. It's nice to be able to go to a game without spending thousands of $$ like I do when I see them somewhere else
Worset comes to worst you can always stay with HK or Nabo or Mor down here. Its not like they'll gang rape you or anything. Just Kidding, they'll totally gang rape you.
One of the BIGGEST reasons we went 11-5 following the 1-15 was due to the schedule. The schedule means a lot.
I can't complain. Indy and Cleveland are within driving distance for me. Also might have to hit up my uncle for one of his tickets to the Texans game. I've been down there twice, and they know how to do a tailgate right. Hopefully the Dolphins have better results this time around.
