I liked Jim's speech. I thought it was the best play he had, but if he really believed he was doomed the following council then he should have followed through on the promise to give the idol to Ozzy. Failing to do so made the sentiment of his speech just words. I think Cochran's an idiot. At best he moved from number 6 in one group to number 7 in the other group. If Albert flips and brings one tribe mate with him, Coach's tribe will fall apart b/c Dawn and Whitney will go with Albert easily.

I can buy Coach and Cochrane. But Dawn? Don't see it. I'm thinking Little Hantz will be the third. Coach will stay loyal to him. Plus, Coach is smart enough to realize not too many people will want to vote for LH or Cochrane.
Coach is gonna win this thing.

I would lmao if Little Hantz won. His uncle would ask for the rights to the title if he did.

there goes that idea... actually Dawn (or Don according to little Hantz) could still come back... :shifty:

Oh and Keith and Courtney are an "item" according to my gossip following wife. I'm sure you all find that as riveting as I do...

I don't see it. Looks like Cochran will be next and then Albert/Sophia. They had their chance last night to make a move and they blew it. when it gets to six, they are outnumbered four to two. The remaining four will probably see the cowboy voted off (has he ever said anything on the show at all?). So you'd have Coach, Hantz and Edna as the final three. Coach has done a magnificent job of keeping his tribe together. He's always playing with the majority. If he doesn't make the final three I'll be stunned in all honesty. Sure, last nights tribal was an eye opener, he didn't say the right things. he should have said we haven't talked about the game once we get to the final six because we want to make sure one of us wins it. That's all he needed to do. That's what I would do (did that in the survivor game here on this message board :wink2:)

And yet if Albert/Sophie hadn't chickened out at the vote...Cochrane woulda been behind 3 backstabs. How many times does he have to be involved in this stuff before you guys realize he's smarter then he looks?

I really hope he can pull off the hat trick and knock Coach outta control.

Also....with the hints from the next episode...it looks like Brandon may be under Coach's ire again. We know Albert and Sophie are on the fence as far as Coach goes....so there's still a chance here.

Or maybe it's my wishful thinking as I've become a huge fan of the backstab after the snorefest that was Boston Rob's win.

I'm going to go with that one. LOL. Cochran doesn't come off as smart. He comes off as a weasel. He actually looks like he'd be smart. It's his actions that make people think otherwise.

Doesn't sound so silly now if you watched that clip show they put on. It's pretty clear in the few hints they gave out that Coach and Cochrane are on board and Brandon/Prince Albert are in trouble.

Cochrane will be in the final 3 guys. Maybe then you'll admit the student has you schooled.

He'll make top 3 because he's a goat and won't get a single jury vote from his original tribe besides maybe Dawn.

Even if he were to make the top three, I don't see him as having any chance to win b/c the majority of the jury will hate him. That's simply not a winning strategy.

Definitely recommend watching the "look back" show. I usually don't watch it, but this one seemed to reveal a lot of new stuff.

  19. I think Ozzy is coming back into the game and he is going to a be a huge wild card in this. I can see him winning out to the end of this. He could very well be the one who chooses who he is sitting next to for the final two and if it comes to that I think he wins the money.

    What did it reveal?

Not much. There was a scene that showed Ozzy telling Coach that he would take him to the final two if he switched sides. It was an obvious lie and Coach saw right through it. You saw a bit more of Albert trying to convince Sophie to make a big move and her very logical response to it. Generally I don't enjoy these episodes as much and this one was no different.

Oh I disagree. Unless I missed it the first time around, Cochran's old tribe (prior to the merge) really treated him like crap and you saw a couple of priime examples of that. You saw him sleeping those first nights in the same "bed" as Keith and Whitney. While they "flirted" under the covers, he was left to curl by himself. And when he moved (rolled over) they had the audacity to complain that he was making too much noise. Then you saw them kill one of the three chickens. Ozzy made Cochran hold the chicken while he cut the head off. He didn't ask for volunteers, Ozzy made him do it because he knew how uncomfortable it would make him. Then Ozzy afterwards was making fun of how he was holding the chicken as it looked like he was having sex with it. That Ozzy is a piece of work. It really showed what led up to Cochran's move to Coach's tribe. I mean, when it happened during the previous shows, they kept some in suspense. You saw him really make up his mind, with Coach. Then, after the merge you saw Brandon try to kill the first chicken, only it escaped, then he took the other one and killed that without asking anyone. Brandon seriously on the outs after doing that. You also saw a pretty good discussion between Coach and Cochran, the whole greek mythology naming rights that Coach has given all the cast members. Coach has called Cochran Hercules. While he has taken Zeus for himself. Also noticed how Coach hates the way Ozzy has organized his camp with his tribe. Ozzy sleeps on the sand next to the fire. I mean we didn't see which location they merged to, at least I don't recall that during the regular shows. Oh and Brandon tries to be like Ozzy catching fish at the new camp, but can't because he's not as strong of a swimmer. That's what led to him killing the chicken. Also saw cowboy hat dude talk more during this episode than the previous ones combined

I can't wait for Ozzie to go. Every time he is talking to the cameras it's like a freaking Ozzie Show. What can be said in a sentence or two turns into how much of a warrior he is.

    He's a tool.

I did like the way Coach connected with Cochran. And I agree that Ozzy didn't. I thought the contrast between Coach and Keith was stark. Coach found a way to connect and Keith just criticized with sports analogies when it should be painfully clear that Cochran is not a sports guy. I was also impressed with how Coach identified what Cochran needed and filled that. That is similar to what Rob did. I think Brandon is a loose cannon, but I thought that before. I could see Coach screwing himself trying to be too loyal to Brandon. I assume that Coach is trying to figure out if he can take Brandon to the end or if he needs to cut ties earlier and risk losing a jury vote. Actually, I think Coach is spoiled for choices among whom tho bring to the end. Edna, Cochran and Brandon would all be easy to defeat. As long as Coach didn't do something that crazy, I could see any of those not getting a single jury vote.

Well it's going to be interesting what happens to Coach if he does make it to the end. I mean the journey there and how he's going to have to lie to essentially get there. Might be his weakness. And might cost him the game. But I do want either him or Cochran to win it.

Coach may very well make it to the end but I don't think he'll win it. Ozzy may as most on the jury so far like him. But, I've a feeling that if Coach/Ozzy/someone esle make it to the final, I think somone else will win.

Oh I don't see him pulling it off without one last back stab that's for sure.

I'm just impressed he's survived this long. He should have been gone within the first few. The fact he's survived this long is what the game is about and he deserves Kudo's for that.

And there goes Cochrane. Honestly I'm surprised Coach didn't go for it. Him/Albert/Cochrane and Edna woulda given him a 100% clear path to victory. This route still leaves the chance that Sophie/Albert pull something on him later (and they have discussed it in the past).

I think the whole world knew that Cochran would be the first to go. Coach, in all his honor and such had to let "hercules" go. Afterall, he had his "promises" to his old alliance first and while he didn't actively pursue Cochran's ouster, he did let it happen. IMO, it's pretty much the same difference. ;)

 at the previews for next week...

Ozzy: Sure, Cochran, you have a chance...

Ozzy behind Cochran's back to the camera: He has NO chance...

Perhaps part of Coach's gameplan here is to have strong people to the final five to try to get Ozzy out IF he comes back from redemption again, which is looking more and more likely. I mean kicking Cochran and Edna out now is not smart IMO, unless he's more concerned about Ozzy coming back and winning the game. It'll be interesting to see how the final five breakdown. And if Ozzy comes back at four or five... I honestly think Ozzy has an as much of a chance to win this as anyone right now, considering the makeup of the jury.

  32. I am guessing that whoever wins the next redemption challenge gets back into the game at the #5 spot. If they send Edna next then they are basically handing Ozzy his ticket back into the game.

Good point. If Edna is next, then she would be pissed at her "alliance" and flip on either of them at the end and vote of Ozzy, assuming he gets back in. But watch the redemption challenge be very cerebral and Cochran cleans Ozzy's clock! That would be hilarious.

It would be funny, but wasn't there already a cerebral challenge this season that Cochran did horribly in? I could see the show trying to come up with a challenge that would appear to give Cochran a shot, but I can't think of anything that Cochran would be good at besides maybe competitive hand wringing.

Cochran is a fricken idiot. All he did was get his tribe picked off one by one when they had the odds at the tiebreaker in tribal. One of the worst players ever IMO.
