If Matt Moore would have seen Marshall a little sooner that would have been a much easier completion.
Professional athletes don't quit man. No one controls the outcome so why compromise yourself as a fan.
Luck has just as much eligibility left as Barkley. I'll worry about missing out on franchise QBs once draft order and draftees get finalized. And I'd take Matt Moore over using a top 10 pick on Weeden.
Did you ever consider maybe they deserve to stay? I know it's a crazy notion given how we've started the season. But to his credit Sparano has kept the teams head in the game. That's hard to do.
Because it is bull! Thats a damn near impossible catch to make on a bang bang play. Period! You want to say he was an idiot for running out of bounds. I'm with you! You want to say he dropped sure TD's in the endzone, I cannot deny he didn't. There was nothing easy about that and its a pass we see bobbled all the time by the best Wr's and the worst.
Luck has publicly stated there's a 99% chance of him entering the draft. We can safely say that Andrew Luck being the #1 overall pick in April 2012 is a foregone conclusion. Not so with Matt Barkley, who would have ample reason to stay in school for another year. Luck has done everything he wanted to at Stanford; has Barkley? Proof. Jones is this year's Chad Henne; RGIII will likely bust, or at minimum will need to ride pine for a couple of years, which doesn't help us whatsoever. Stop settling for also-rans at the QB spot, please.
Roethlisberger = 11th Joe Flacco = 18th Matt Ryan = 3rd Aaron Rodgers = 24th Phillip Rivers = 5th Drew Brees = 32 Tom Brady = 5,100,523 Point is you don't need a top 5 pick to get a first round QB. You just need to PICK a QB in the first round.
Well, we are dragging the Bills, Sapp may have been right when he said we would keep them out of the EZ this game
Please explain which QB with equivalent ability and talent will be available this year at those picks. It's fine to say "Look at where these other QBs were drafted," but it's not fine to say that this is a routine matter of course.
He's already got the ball, he had both feet in. That was the hard part of the catch. All he has to do is keep his hands on the damn ball as he hits the ground and its an easy 7! You want to give him a pass for making the hard part of the catch and messing up the easy part, just holding the god damn ball as he hits the ground... fine by me, go for it. We'll agree to disagree!
Chris Clemons with the punt block... can't sniff the field at Safety, but 100% healthy enough to block a punt
What the **** has happened to this team the last few weeks? Who are these Miami Dolphins? This isn't the team that was showing up to play the first 7 weeks. There's a hell of a lot more emotion on the field nowadays.
