The games vs the Jest and SD were bad, since then though he has been a fine Qb, objectively speaking, if he continues to play well his sig pic gets a "face"
Where the hell has this team been? This is fun while also slightly frustrating realizing we could be in the playoff hunt if this team would have shown up against the likes of Cleveland and Denver.
Clay has been a huge addition to this offense the last few weeks. Fasano too. Nice to see us actually using TE's in the passing game.
Trade up, trade the farm to get a quarterback. Find a right tackle and a safety in free agency, profit. IF we are picking in the mid teens we could wait and draft Weeden if he drops. This is a relatively young team, we can afford to overpay to get a franchise type quarterback.
Chad Henne just called his agent and told him to find a new team that he can be a backup Qb for, for next season
Honestly, If there was no lockout, and we had an offseason workout program, etc, etc... This team would not have started 0 and 7. This could be much different this season.
I've followed Clay on twitter since he first got drafted and his name was "Charles Clay 9" to begin with, so it always stuck with me. Do like Claymore though, cool nickname for a cat who was cutting grass this summer
That's the thing D4, he is not a "surprise" he was great wherever he played in College, Wr/Te/Rb he performed wherever he lined up, the only surprise is he lasted until the 6th rd.
I totally agree. They have both been outstanding. Dansby is healthy AND in shape and Burnett seems to have found his way after his dreadful start.
