Let me start off by saying I'm not a suck for luck guy. This defense has not let up a TD in over 2 games. I though that this was the D, that we were going to see all season. We have led all games this season, only to give up 4, 4th quarter leads. We have 2 games vs the Bills, 1 each vs the Jests and Pats. We will win the AFC East championship at 9-7. BOOK IT!!!.
Actually would have been better if they beat the crappy Browns sooner and held those double-digit leads against the Giants and Broncos so they'd be 5-4 and tied with Bills and Jets or Pats whoever loses tonight. And we're not winning out, We beat two teams who are just as bad, maybe worse, than we are. Whatever... here's to 2012 and hopefully having a coaching staff that plays to win and a QB that is actually great and not mediocre.
9-7...I vote YES! Until proven otherwise. What's pathetic is there appears to be a large percentage of so-called fans that were on the SFL bandwagon still hope we lose as many games as possible for higher draft picks.

keep winning...fantastic....qb in the third round who will be less than average, let moore start next year, go 7-9, continue the mediocrity....it will be awesome! fins up!!!!! and before i'm accused of being a crappy fan, let me say: been a fan for over 25 years...i go to the pats/dolphins game every year in foxboro, winning season or not...i root for them like a madman, but honestly, at some point it has to crumble...this team needs help...and winning 5-6 games this season isn't going to do it...if you like 8-8, 6-10, 7-9 and matt moore, good for you...you're a crappy fan...sorry if i want more...sorry if i'd like to go to the playoffs and have a chance or win the division when brady ISN'T hurt...sorry if i want more than field goals and "fingers crossed" let's not screw this up, sorry if i want a better team...if that makes me a bad fan, so be it, but the rest of you who want this team to win meaningless games down the stretch for no reason other than being pom pom wavers, you're delusional to think this team is better than it is...if they were, they'd have won all these games they "should have won"
There is no such thing, you/they just have a different opinion. The beauty is there is no right way and no wrong way to be a fan. If you don't mind sucking for Luck your just as big of fan as a guy who wants to win as many games as possible. Just because somebody goes to every game and has season tickets does not make them more of a fan the one who just watches them on tv. Just because you spend all day writing on a message board does not make you more of a fan then one who does not. There is no line that divides a fan from being "crappy","so-called", or "true" so trying to classify them as such is obtuse.
At this point I don't care. Win out. Lose out. Either way it doesn't matter. Have Henne come back as starting QB next year.
SFL sounds like a pretty horrific way to be a fan to me. You're cheering for the Dolphins to lose, and the Dolphins are no where near as bad as their record has them. They're just not, so you're hoping for your team to lose enough to draft this one magical player, and there is no way that it happens. You have to watch a crappy season and you cannot even enjoy days like today. Also, this idea that without low draft picks there is no way that the Dolphins can pull themselves out of mediocrity is ******ed. How many first overalls, or even top 5 picks, have the Pats, Steelers, and Packers, had over the last decade? (i think just AJ Hawk right?) If your justifying routing against your team by that line of thinking you're being kind of myopic, which is kind of ironic if you think about it. I don't understand why you'd even be a fan thinking like that. What fun would it be? I'm not calling anyone a bad fan, I just think you're sad fans.

Lol we beat the Chiefs and the Redskins. I could maybe understand your enthusiasm if we just beat 2 good teams in a row.
If we cannot raise our feelings and rant in here about our team, might as well shut this site down. We all have differing opinions, SFL vs. win-baby, etc. I think every poster here needs to stop criticizing people for their post just because they have a differing opinion. I want us to SFL, but given that's not going to happen, I'll enjoy a few wins and look forward to the new coaching staff coming in January.
Rest assured patcobb, as unlikely as this scenario may have appeared when you first posted it, I'd estimate that the odds have since improved, to a level of probability at least equal to any other outcome. Given the degree of doubt and disbelief in this thread, (in addition to my own) nothing could be more encouraging in hopes for it coming to pass, just as nothing would be as debilitating to its likelihood, than the unanimous belief of these forsaken fans, in any chance of it ever transpiring.

Actually Patcobb, Hold off on planning any divisional victory parties just yet, we apparently still have some believers in the mix, sweatin the odds of this team's new found potential.
The problem is that most fans are bummed that we are no longer in the SFL club. The thing is, we're still only 2-7 and our two victories have been against the hapless Skins and the even less hapless Chiefs...(maybe it's an Indian theme thing ?). Just because we beat these two losers, doesn't mean this team is on it's way to 9-7 and a playoff berth... We might even get lucky against the Jills since they seem to playing down to their competition this season, but we're still 2-7 at the end of today, so there's no reason to get all giddy....
I honeslty don't think we are going to make the playoffs, just want to point out that crazier things have happened. I would be content at this point to at least let TS leave/fired with some street cred and to cost either the bills/jests the wild card.
I want the same things..... Play spoiler, prove this team doesn't quit for the next guy and Tony to hit the bricks. At this point that would be a success IMO.
