This was one of the ugliest games I've seen. I still loved cheering for my team to win, and them doing so was great, as opposed to the woulda, coulda hoping for a loss.

We are what we are. We will win or lose with our teams best effort, no matter the SFL. I can live with that, and enjoy it.

I'm on the Miami Dolphins bandwagon, and that's all I care about.

Suck for Luck is dead, which is ok by me. Wins are fun, but I don't want these last two weeks to blind us to some very stark realities.

Disagree. It was a horrible game, and Moore was very far from good. I just enjoy cheering for our team. winning, and don't care much about anything else, until next week.

This forum has very knowledgeable posters, many who are better than most of the media. No one here is going to be blinded to our needs. However, getting our first win, followed by our first home win, is some reason for celebration.

It will be short lived but, well worth doing.

We lost Luck anyway because Indy might be fielding the worst team in the history of the league. It became apparent two or three weeks ago that Indy will not even come close to winning a football game. At this point just hope we are in position to acquire one of the good college QBs coming out this year.

Yessir, and while I knew they would be bad when Manning went out, IDK they would be this bad.

SFL was not something I was down with, but we should not kid ourselves, if a outstanding Qb prospect is there when we draft, we must take them, simple as that really.

They should even trade up if that's what they need to do. Hopefully Ireland will be fired and the new GM will treat the position like it's important.

Yeah because we all know that praying and hoping that your team sucks enough to get the first pick in the draft is a garauntee to get rid of all that mediocre play....

Indy is bad because they want to be bad. They are going to do some highway robbery when the draft comes around. Draft luck or wait for someone to ask for 5 first rounders. Pathetic!

Im getting a little more confident in this team the last few weeks. Still need a Safety, RT, Pass Rusher and a QB and I feel we will be back in contention.

I don't begrudge anybody SFL because I was on board with it when we realistically had a shot. I still rooted for my team, but the losses served a purpose.

Luck belongs to Indy now. There are other QBs and we'll still be drafting in the Top 10. At this point, I want to see players improving. A QB isn't going to solve all our problems. The fewer holes we have to fill the better.

Wait and see, it is somewhat obvious we have more issues besides Qb play, if that means RGIII and keeping our high #2, then I'm fine with it, or whichever young Qb comes out

Which is the wildcard in all of this, Barkely and Jones may stick in school, and that would cut the blue chip Qb pool way down.

That's my take Muck, I never bought into the idea that a 1-15 season meant adding a Qb who would suddenly make us contenders, if you are that bad you have major major holes.

I'm enjoying laughing at people who hate Brandon Marshall.

And once again we see that the Rha Rha for meaningless win crowd can insult a large portion of this board with a thread title telling us to get screwed but it's accepted.

I wonder how fast the thread would get moved / I would get banned if I started a thread that said "Screw everyone who needs to be placated by meaningless wins."

That being said, Colts are being led by a mentally ******ed head coach, the race is over.

You mean we're becoming the new Bills? Hoooooray.

Really though, these wins are "Meh." We're going to finish between 3-13 to 6-10 this year...probably closer to 3-13(don't get it twisted, the Chiefs and Redskins are equally bad if not worse). The real prize will be when we fire the coaching staff and get rid of Colombo. That will already be an improvement. Maybe they will trade up for Luck. I just hope we don't have to trade up even to get the 2nd or 3rd best QB prospect. We're still in 2nd in the draft standings.

We can always just root for our team to win, and then just hope that we trade up in the draft to pick our QB.

I was giving Marshall props today when he made some plays. Also gave him hell when he catches the ball in space and stops. That is what he does.
I'm laughing at the fans who want us to lose because they compromise their fanhood and look ridiculous.
I don't control outcomes I just do what I've always done. Root for the Dolphins.
What are the so called fans do who want us to lose. Do they come back when things are better. That is what I love to call fair weathered.
Loved the win today. This team doesn't quit.

That philosophy is a negative, awful fan mentality that breeds douchbaggery. :wink2:

were not bad enough to get luck it is what it is you can only have so many denver and clev type of losses in a year. This team even though not overly talented never gave up and got blown out did I want luck yeah sure but I thought the players would quit at one point and they haven't. Also with out Brandon Marshall this team would be so bad every game the defense always rolls 3-4 guys his way. This just shows how poor Hartline is we need a real 2nd wr and our qb play should be a lot better.

Eh, if one thinks about it, we have not went into an offseason on a winning streak since 08 or 05, so it would not quite be the same old same old...but it could be, that is the NFL

Neither of those streaks did anything for us the following season. Also we'll have a new coach this offseason. I think we'll win four to five games and Sparano will be fired in January. Sounds pretty good to me.

There is no such thing as momentum that carries over from one season to another.
